He’s dumb

I love him

Name: Lumi (Finnish for snow apparently)

Age: Somewhere in his mid-twenties probably

Height: Frieza size lol

Family: Parents. Considered his village family too. Everyone did.

A lil bit of backstory:

This idiot was born in a teeny, tiny village on some long destroyed planet. In the middle of nowhere on said planet. It was like the tiniest village ever. Lumi was born super weak. He has like a power level of 5 lol Never fought a day in his life. Didn’t need to, because his village was peaceful. He had a regular, happy childhood, and as an adult, found a nice, decent paying job as an administrative assistant in a mediumish city. Honestly, his only talent in life is organization and scheduling.

He visited his home village and family a lot, and happened to be there when it got attacked by some of Cooler’s army. Lumi only survived because he got forcibly hired on as an administrative assistant. And that is how organization skills saved his life.

Seeing one’s family and friends slaughtered and then one’s planet blown up from space is not inclined to make one eager to fight. So Lumi remained a low-level assistant, never increasing his already non-existent power. He has like zero backbone and is pretty easy pickings for higher ranking officers. He actually does enjoy his job, but obviously not the environment he works in. If he possessed even an ounce of courage, he might try to desert, but he does not, and so stays on.

There is like literally one person on the ship who is nice to him, and that is the OC of @thefriendlyicejin , a Namekian Time Patroller named Ale. Lumi obviously has never heard of Time Patrollers and would probably think it’s some insane story, so he doesn’t know the one guy nice to him is technically just there undercover.

Of course, when Cooler finally kicks the bucket and his army is in shambles… Lumi manages to survive the chaos, because of he’s so insignificant that no one even noticed him lol

Personality: Hyper organized, a perfectionist, nervous, high-strung. Extremely terrified of any kind of violence, since it reminds him of his villiag’s destruction. Distrustful, a little dismissive. Has a tendency to speak very quickly when he’s excited, angry, or nervous. Very jumpy. Easy to upset. Easy to anger, although it’s more of a nervous anger. Doesn’t understand why not everyone would have a planner for scheduling every minute of their day. He has like no friends, so if makes an effort to befriend him, he will do anything to make them happy. Tries desperately to prove brains over brawn, but that really doesn’t work in the Dragon Ball universe lol

Likes: Organization, paperwork, scheduling, arranging things by color, cleaning. Actually really enjoys drawing, but is too embarrassed to share that. Flowers, the ocean (he saw it once as a child), large shirts, things that don’t involve having to fight.

Dislikes: Messes, people who are always late, birds (he’s terrified of them for some reason), literally everyone in Cooler’s army except Ale. Violence. Solving things with one’s fists. Spontaneous activities. People who crush flowers. Any article of clothing except huge shirts.

People he likes: His parents, everyone in his village, Ale. And that’s about it lol

Strengths: Can organize anything, can fit anything in a schedule, will always have the thing you need on hand, good at solving puzzles. Undying loyalty to anyone he considers a friend.

Weaknesses: Very, very weak. Would probably be bruised if a feather landed on him. Like, I cannot stress how weak this guy is. Power level? What power level. Like the only thing he’s good at is his organization skills. Stresses too easily. Panics easily. Very hard on himself if he makes mistakes. Terrible social skills.  Can be disdainful of people who rely on their physical strength. Needs to be less judgemental.

I feel like when people hear IDW Transformers is really gay, they assume it’s fans projecting, but no. I’ve done the math. Straight couples barely exist. I can think of like three off the top of my head, and that’s only if you count Thundercracker writing self-insert fanfic about Marissa.

So, come on down to the gay robot emporium, because we’ve got married ones! Single ones! Alien-dating ones! Screwed-up ones, because when you don’t have the one Designated LGBT Rep Couple™, it frees you up to do unhealthy as well as healthy relationships! We’ve got casual flirting not played off as jokes, because–as one of the writers said–it’s a homonormative society, and there’s nothing weird about assuming a guy and his friend are married! Hell, IDW Transformers has three trans lesbians. That’s three more trans lesbians than i’ve ever seen in anything outside Sense8. Holy shit.

100% Canon relationships/characters:

This isn’t even a complete list. Proxima’s girlfriend Acceleron exists, but hasn’t shown up in the comic. I’m not even going to get into the whole Tarantulas situation, or Orion Pax and the senator. It would not be a stretch to say a good bit of the story depends on Prowl’s (many) disastrous relationships. Brainstorm once punched a hole in space and time with the power of gay love. Chela and Metrotitan (the golden bird and blocky guy) are ancient, city-sized, semi-holy husbands. The reboot better be just as gay or I’ll riot.
