what is itafushi week?

itafushi week is an event where itafushi fans come together to create fics, art, edits, or other fan creations based on a set of prompts. the event is meant to celebrate itafushi and strengthen the fan community :)

how do i participate?

create something inspired by the prompts and post it or share the link on tumblr with the tag #itafushiweek2025 and mention this blog in your post! your post will be reshared here!

for ao3 authors, you can submit your work to the collection itafushiweek2025.

please be patient with having your works reblogged & added to the collection. at this time there is only one mod who has a full-time job that is unfortunately not itfs.

is this an sfw event, or are nsfw works allowed?

you can submit any type of work you want, so long as it is properly tagged! please refer to the guidelines post for further instructions on how to share nsfw work. if you follow that, your post will be reshared and added to the collection.

when reblogging, i will tag works with #sfw and #nsfw for easy navigation so people can avoid content they are not interested in.

is fushiita allowed, or is this just an itafushi event?

both are welcome. the event is called itafushi week since it is the more commonly used name here on tumblr, especially for sfw work.

when will dates & prompts be available?

i'm closing the form on april 27th at noon EST, i hope to share the details within a few hours of that.

why are the prompts not more concrete? / what about ___ au/post-canon/yuri?

the goal is to inspire as many different interpretations and as much creative freedom as possible. that way people can write whatever they want—au or canonverse, fluff or angst, sfw or nsfw, etc.

for example, the prompt rain could be interpreted as a romantic kiss in the rain, a cozy day in during a storm, an interpretation of chapter 9, etc.

mainly, it gives people a bit more freedom compared to a list of tropes, since some people might be pickier about what they like and don't like. it also gives more opportunity for people to update a current multi-chapter/series or pick up a wip that’s been gathering dust!
