HONESTLY. so funny that emo marinette was like ugh adrien agreste what a stuck up LOSER and then he was like oh my god hi BLUSHES and she was like fine. FINE I’ll make you my boy toy at my earliest convenience
so like, b-127 is an unhinged chatty little motor mouth as a result of severe isolation, and it’s like a “haha he’s kind of annoying but also kind of pathetic” comedic relief shtick, right. except like, this is bee, so we all know he’s going to get his throat ripped out (and imagine if it’s by megatron As Per Tradition. that would be fucking diabolical) and it’s going to be a TRAGEDY where the guy everybody wished would just Shut The Fuck Up is suddenly silenced in the cruelest most sobering way possible. a total “loss of innocence” movie moment for him with all the accompanying traumatic character development - like hey dude, one of the guys that you imprinted on baby-duckling-style is irreversibly NOT your friend, and in fact hates you and tried to kill you!! yippee!!
and then he would be a mute bumblebee, existing in a franchise that has - at least once - played with the concept of chirolinguistics. AND he has knife hands. much to think about.
Some fake comic panels I made for an edit

Idk if this counts as a meta, but I wanted to kind of share my thoughts on smth.
I think the core difference between Karma and Terasaka at the start of the series is their values. Bc yeah you would think they’re both careless delinquents who don’t listen for shit, but there’s a very important and specific reason why Terasaka’s actions anger Karma so much.
From the start of the series, we know that Karma has a strong rule of not hurting innocent people. That’s why he got sent to 3-E, beats up bullies, etc. And what Terasaka does continually at first is put other’s lives in danger for his own reasons. He almost sacrificed Nagisa, and he puts his own classmates in harm’s way in Vision Time.
This goes completely against Karma’s morals. The last thing Karma ever wants is for innocent people to get hurt. Even in his own episode, he never hurts his classmates in all his attempts to kill Koro. In the end, when he jumps off the cliff, it goes to show that the only life he is fully willing to sacrifice or harm for a greater reason is his own.
Meanwhile, Terasaka had done the opposite. But keep in mind, I’m not calling him a bad person. Terasaka is just an example of a child who has been failed by the education system and left to believe he’s a good-for-nothing. He literally coped with those feelings by embracing them, even if it meant having to put himself over others. He did take accountability in canon and changed for the better.
Karma and Terasaka are foils in the sense that they each undergo a huge transformation in character, and endure things for positive growth. I just thought it was interesting to point out a key difference between them that explains how Terasaka’s actions must’ve really impacted Karma in that episode.
