Genuinely can't express how heartbroken I am over the cancellation of Dead Boy Detectives after just 1 season. It's become such a source of joy and inspiration in my life even though it's been released only a few months ago.

It's been a light during sad and bleak times, and I don't know how to deal with the news other than by saying - tweet at Netflix. They don't care about tumblr, use other platforms to bug the absolute hell out of them. Be polite and don't make multiple social media accounts since it can make you look like a bot.

@netflix everywhere you can, email them, make noise wherever you can. Make #RenewDeadBoyDetectives trend on Twitter!!!

And please, if the show meant something to you, don't stop engaging with the fandom!! I'm truly emotionally destroyed rn, but I don't want to give up what this community has given me so far 💔

we don’t even get to know the twins names. like what a monumental disrespect to the lives they’ve lived for 6 years. tua is a show fundamentally about unloved children. it deserved to end with loved children. diego and allison deserved to break the cycle of abuse. but we don’t even know their names.

i was really disappointed with what they did to Klaus, rly felt like they just gave up with him and went for some weird gay junkie stereotype with him. like i thought that when he got his powers back and was saying that he's back to square one, it'd be explained more and he'd have an arc where all the other umbrellas would help him to deal with him powers in a different way, yknow??

this was just sad tbh, and there was nothing about Dave the whole time?? apart from Klaus getting his dogtags back :((

I'm kind of having the time of my life relishing in the chaos of the reactions of S4. Did one of my favorite shows end and it was a shit season to end it on? Yeah. Is it disappointing? Oh yeah. I'm not alone though, and most of us are in the same boat!

Gazafunds actually deals with this anxiety and makes a decision for you if you want. Their home page has a spotlighted fundraiser and the code consider things like how close the gfm is to finishing, when the most recent donation is, etc. So it's randomized to help as many people as possible.

There's also @helpgazachildren which if you donate, you can help multiple people at once since it's a whole mutual aid fund, or at least close to it. Hussam distributes money to people who need it when he's asked.

I'll admit that i mindlessly scroll through socials to distract myself, but for how long can I avoid these posts? How long can I delude myself that everything will be fine? How long can I tell myself that the world will stop this cruelty? How long can I tell myself that this is only going to happen to Palestinians?
