Okay originally this was gonna be WAY fucking longer cuz I like to be efficient in my ramblings, however I accidentally posted it unfinished, panicked, and deleted it

I'm scared of posting this, not because I'll be hated for saying my beliefs but that does play a small part in it, I'm scared of the possibility I wont be taken seriously, and that I will just cause more harm than good in telling the internet what's on my mind.

However people r saying not to be silent, so I won't

George Floyd was a man whom was killed during an attempted arrest for attempting to purchase goods with counterfeit money by officers, one of which knelt on his neck while he was handcuffed. Though it is being investigated on whether or not he was killed due to suffocation or toxins in his system due to alcohol consumption or allegedly drugs, the officer played a part in his death due to his reckless and stupid stunt, more info can be found here, though if this is not sufficient will gladly scour the internet more for more info. But as we all know his tragic death caused outrage.

At first the protests started peacefully as per usual, but six days after they started a man was killed by national guard when involved in a angry confrontation, in an attempt to disperse the crowds. Again this goes into a little more detail.

Now this is a very gross simplification of the problem at large, and while I'm sure most of us know about it I just like to lay down the issue before getting to the meat and potatoes of this post, the views and opinions of the poster.

Honestly? I'm conflicted, I tried, I really did try to just choose one side (BLM) because my usual neutral stand may not actually do anything at the moment. But I couldn't, there's too many factors on each side to consider, and while I'll admit I'm very biased and mostly agree with the views of BLM, I also didnt like the idea of writing the officers off as,, well officers.

I think police should be held up to their actions like everyone else, I think their definitely needs to be some changes to the organization at large, but I dont like dehumanizing every officer and just saying all of them are ruthless pigs. Whether we all like it or not those are people too, good and bad, and generalizing them, to me, doesnt really contribute anything positive to the problem at hand.

But I get why were doing it.

Were angry, and tired, and just upset that this kind of shit just keeps fucking happening, hell I'm fucking pissed at then myself, I trusted this power to uphold its word and be an agent of justice for us all and it betrayed me, AGAIN. Of course I'm fucking pissed.

But I'm scared too

I'm scared that the police will just keep following their orders and just keep acting on the offensive, I'm scared this will turn into another bloodbath due to racial tension, I'm scared because I want to believe that we've learned from those incidents and want something better.

And I do

In my point of view, humanity IS the world, we all made it and we all change it and ourselves with it, at the moment my world is America since I live here and I've never had an opportunity to go anywhere else. But I want to believe in us and so I do, I'm not trying to be holier than thou, and like I said I dont have an answer for this, I'm only one person.

So that does beg the question on why I made this dumb little tumblr post

My personal beliefs are over all neural, I get it, they dont particularly contribute to anything but their mine, and i wanted to say something about this kinda shit for once.

This has probably been all over the place, and I apologize if it makes little sense, I dont like to say one thing about a big issue like this so I tend to ramble. If there are glaring problematic issues with my point of view feel free to say so! I dont expect you guys to agree with me, but I do appreciate hearing your guys view on the matter as well!

SO I FINALLY GOT AROUND TO PLAYING THE SOUL STONE WAR, and I made this basic bitch and I love him, he is the only normal one besides Strassa maybe. At least as normal as a person trouble loves to follow anyway, but I digress.

The Soul Stone War is a lovely little game made by @intimidatingpuffinstudios, I’d probably play it sooner if I had… money, BUT I managed to get some and got both 1 and 2, they’ve been a blast even if 2 was a lot more, emotionally draining.

I’m gonna get into more deets about Isak here so, if ur not interested I’ll cover it up with a read more! Also it contains spoilers for books 1 and 2 so, if u wanna avoid that don’t look lol

Now seeing as the deets about the origins in game haven’t been revealed yet, I unfortunately cannot tell you exactly what happened to him, however I can give you how he reacted to all the shit that went on and how it affected him!

Isak grew up with his brother Jorgen and his mother, until she passed away probably around the time Isak was starting to reach maturity, he was heart broken of course, but Isak needed to be strong for Jorgen so he coped by looking on the brighter side of things. He tried to be a positive influence on his brother, and always did his best in taking care of him, either by working his absolute ass off in a toxic work environment for money or by telling Jorgen grand stories he made up based off of the tales in the scrolls in his village. He truly loved his brother and would do anything for him, including taking abuse by the locals that were particularly nasty to him and his brother.

He still tried to be friendly to the locals, even if they were cold, at the very least to try and make life easier for him and his brother. Of course the only person he considered a friend was his neighbor, who was the only person that was kind to him after his mother’s death, seeing as everyone would remain cold or even hostile to him despite his efforts.

Bain was his reoccurring tormentor, he tried many methods to placate him, appealing to him, letting him beat him, hell he even faught him once! But Isak lost, seeing as he avoided conflict where it would arise. Still none of these worked, and Bain continued to abuse him, but his brother especially

Which is probably what led to Jorgen’s subsequent death.

I cannot say what happened specifically, but regardless, Isak was completely crushed. For the first time in his life, he decided to give in to his rage as a way to placate the grief he would feel for the rest of his life, and he regretted doing so. Very much so.

After fleeing his village, he honestly considered just killing himself then and there, he couldn’t see a bright side his situation and the death of his brother was still fresh on his mind, but of course dear old lady Conch was there to remind him otherwise. With her help he regained his positive attitude, if not shaken now, and managed to pick himself up as much as he could from the depths and press on. To live a good life, one Jorgen likely would’ve wanted for him.

However Isak did develop a bad habit of spiraling if he doesn’t manage to convince himself that things will be ok, which usually leads to panic attacks, but of course he still tries despite this.

Hopefully this more or less sheds light on who he is a bit! He is an absolute peach and I love him, his design is probably a bit too bright for the setting but eh, it suits him, I’ll probably edit this to add his relationship dynamics so far if people r interested enough

Okay so idk how else to do this besides asking Tumblr users themselves (at least some of em anyway) but I'm wondering if there's a,,, correct way? To post content? I'm speaking more in terms of consideration for other people or parties when referencing them in my posts because I've started to overthink what I'm doing and now need guidance 🙃.

I draw a Lotta fanart and talk about the peice for a bit in my posts but I also usually tag the creator of the content I'm making art of because 1) let's people find out more about what I'm drawing and 2) so the creator can see the art cuz I think they would appreciate it, though this is a presumptuous notion on my part.

I just played Immortals Fenyx Rising for the second time and I felt like drawing the family squad. The heights are inaccurate and I now know that after watching someone play New God but I drew this before I watched that sooo... Sorry for a different post than normal.
