This came to me in a dream.

Edit: you have a duty to more than just love. Think about your duty to the law. To your morals. To the general public. Your duty will not always be to your loved ones.

Think about what you would choose to do if someone you loved had committed some terrible crime and you had the choice to keep quiet about it to keep them safe or to speak out about it (to help the victim of the crime, to prevent more victims in the future, to uphold the law, for your own morals, etc.). Your choice shows the difference between love and duty.

Concept: Leo taking extra care of the Argo II because the original Jason died on the Argo.

Leo knowing the prophecy hangs over both of their heads. Leo who already knows he’s tempting fate with the name. And being even more careful with the upkeep.

Taking the others remarks about it in stride that he cares about it more then them.

All he can think about how the original Jason died crushed by the rotting mast of his ship.

merlin falling to his knees after sending arthur out onto the lake and then just. staying there. he was planning on staying until his body gave out from dehydration but he just...never died. he kept waking up to the same sight of the lake, the day around him a bit different. yet he never moved. he remained on the shore of that lake as nature began to claim him, growing over his body as if he were just a stone on the ground. merlin never moves. he is arthur's servant. he'd follow arthur everywhere. if he couldn't...well then, he'll wait right outside. he'll wait right here. he'll wait for arthur.

jason's last words being to leo "don't do this, we have to stay together" and leo's last words to jason being "when are you going to trust me? i love you", fuck they should've met again but they didn't and they can't im so upset at that literally being the last time they speak to each other and leo blows up in flames and jason loses his grip on the air, storm and fire at the same time but yeah "we HAVE to stay together" and "WHEN are you going to trust me?", this never happens like this never happens fuck... like that's all they wanted through the books, that is LITERALLY their arcs, jason wanted something that stuck and something he understood, and leo was misunderstood and cast aside. but asking WHEN will we stay together? HAVE you trusted me? and the thing is, they did this from their very first quest!!!!! they made sure that it was just them in it no matter what set them apart or against each other but also that they trusted each other so much with the very private parts of their lives, like they saw things of each other that piper didn't even know, had conversations she never heard... and for it to end in jason's pov watching leo, and all they say is "we have to stay together" "when are you going to trust me" and of course the fucking final words of "i love you" fuck fuck fuck
