I am indeed a headass and have done nothing of the sort pero like if someone wants to recommend something to read so I can do the above, I don’t have a problem with that.

I created this blog for the following reasons:

I want to be able to write what I believe about certain novels that I read as well as receive constructive criticism in the structure of the argument as well as what the argument depicts.

Well as a high school student I know that Shmoop and sparknotes shouldn’t be the only resource or you’ll get a virus in your phone before reaching your literature class

I’ve been illiterate for most of the year; I might as well start reading now when I’ve got the time.

It could be fun I guess.

Even though this will be mainly dedicated to literature, the way that I plan to analyze the works that I read are going to be based on:

Their characters, if it has any

The plot, if it has any

Their message

Their structure

And their connection to the author

I’ll be looking into these books chapter by chapter in the case of smaller texts and for larger texts it’ll be done in segments composed of more than a single chapter.

My thoughts on one hundred years of solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

To begin, I read this book about a year ago and based on the fact that it’s a book that I pick up again and again I’d say with certainy it is an amazing novel. As thorough as I could be with my thoughts on a novel, I sincerely hope you don’t mind a few grammatical errors, spoilers and the fact that I’m a weeb let’s get started.

My favorite part of the novel I would have to say that it would be divided into 3 parts which would be the way the characters are structured, the universal setting, and the nonlinear timeline of the novel.

I enjoy the fact that all these characters have the same name but notice by the end their names become mixtures and by the endless journals or John green videos you could watch exemplifies that that component of the novel reflects on humanity never changes no matter what could possibly occur in human history which is obvious if you take a good sniff of European history which is legitimately the repetition of a violation of self determination.

My mood

I’m so friccin happy right now! I feel like I can fly right about now, sorry for sounding so cliche but I swear that’s how I feel! I can’t believe I have the capacity to feel this way but I do! (SCrEeCH) I sound fake but I swear like I’ve been smiling for like the last 20 minutes since I last texted them. I like this dude a lot I like like him. I’m screaming internally like holy shit. But something is eating at the back of my mind, they don’t like me back. They’re just being nice, being kind, like everyone else I liked before. Maybe there’s a chance but I have to realize that it’s not going to happen so I’ll satisfy myself with what I have now with them.
