God this man continues to piss me off even when he's dead
In the light of the very recent episode I think we as the fandom must understand now that Gabriel telling Marinette to "make sure that Adrien remembers him as a good father" was specifically just so Adrien would continue his last will more willingly as the new Monarch by making everyone singing Gabe's praises taking away his blame while also setting up everyone who knows the truth as liars so Adrien can channel his anger through them and not him with him no longer being present too. Gabriel specifically set Marinette up to fight her own boyfriend and end their romance while still extending his control over Adrien. Damn what a douchebag
My name is Saja. I’m a wife, a mother, and a woman who once believed her story would be simple. I thought my days would be filled with watching my daughter grow — from her first smile to her first steps — surrounded by the small joys of everyday life.
But life had other plans.
War has returned to our home. Again. And once again, we find ourselves living under skies that never seem to rest.
There was a moment — a fragile, breathless moment — when the bombs paused and the world seemed to remember us. It gave us hope. We thought maybe, just maybe, we could start to rebuild. But now, we are back in the dark — hiding, holding on, praying.
I’m writing this not as someone seeking pity, but as a mother who has no other choice but to speak.
Imagine holding your baby in the middle of the night, not because she cried, but because the world outside roared too loud for either of you to sleep. Imagine whispering bedtime stories not to lull her into dreams, but to keep the fear from settling into her tiny bones.
This is my life.
This is my daughter’s life.
And even now — especially now — I believe in softness. I believe in kindness. Because when everything else is taken from you, hope becomes the most valuable thing you have.
Why I’m Reaching Out Our home has been damaged. Our lives changed. But through it all, my daughter wakes up every morning with a smile. She reaches for me with trust, with love, with faith that I will keep her safe.
That’s why I keep going.
I’ve launched a campaign to ask for help — not because it’s easy, but because silence is no longer an option. I am asking for support not just for me, but for my baby, and for the quiet strength of so many mothers like me who are fighting, every single day, to hold their families together.
How You Can Help: 🤍 Help us restore parts of our home so we can live with dignity 🤍 Support women and mothers in Gaza with access to care and resources 🤍 Keep the light of hope alive for a generation born in the shadows of war
đź’› If you can, please support our journey here:
If you can’t give, please consider sharing. Your voice might be the reason someone else hears ours.
From My Heart to Yours Maybe our lives are worlds apart. Maybe you’ve never lived through war. But if you’ve ever held a child and wished the world could be better for them — then you understand more than you know.
I don’t want my daughter to grow up thinking the world turned away.
Please, if you’ve read this far — thank you. Thank you for seeing us. Thank you for caring. We are still here. Still hoping. Still holding on to every kind act like it’s a lifeline.
This episode has done irreparable damage to my mind
thinking about the letter again...
@little-mari-on-a-roof 's tags on this post:
#his sacrifice in front of Marinette was already so fucked up #but knowing he had a backup plan is somehow even worse #and he definitely thought Nathalie had more time left than him (at least according to Intuition) #even in his letter he doesn't admit to all the wrong he did. he only says HE sacrified everything and that he was Monarque #he never talks about the pain he inflicted upon others #so even with his last words asking Marinette to not let him know about the villain he was #he doesn't actually write off Adrien finding and following the letter
This made me want to go check out Intuition again and... all this might be a stretch, but could this be the moment he decides to write this letter? Find a solution? And then he asks Adrien and he confirms that no, he doesn't have any adults that could replace his parents (a stupid thing to ask unless of course you don't know anything about your son)
I also added that dialogue from Recreation and I'm now convinced that it's only then that he remembers about the letter. The moment when Ladybug mentions "solution" for the second time and his face changes. And all the remorse about wasting his and Nathalie's life and fear of leaving Adrien alone, that I do believe was sincere at first (but like little-mari-on-a-roof said, no regrets about the villainy) is gone from his face. Ta-da!
Here is his solution. He promised Adrien that Nathalie would help him with his new task. So he heals her instead, since Gabriel himself keeps failing anyway. Nathalie was right and his use of Miraculous is condemning them. Fine! Perhaps Adrien will do a better job!
Also, well... Intuition is an episode that revolves around the power of Second Chance. Sooo.... makes sense if he found a backup plan right there. Adrien as his second chance...
Bonus points: in Recreation he knows Adrien would have to betray none other than Marinette to do that. Couldn't get rid of adrinette yourself? Lol just convince her to lie to him and him to betray her and let them do the rest! Another problem solved?
I enjoy that direction and it's a refreshing idea for a kid's show, but they executed it so badly.. the writing was FAR from perfect. Like revolution was such a goofy episode lol. But the idea itself wasn't bad !!
I especially HATED how people in the fandom just casually spread disinformation about the supposed reasons of her "ruined redemption" when there's only one reason : it was planned.
I would've enjoyed more if Chloe failed her redemption in a less extreme way though, there was no need to make her as bad as they did, she should've stayed as some kind of minor antagonist or a more neutral character. Like, she stays a bitch but doesn't cooperate with a literal terrorist.
I'm worried about what they're planning with her for s6 as I wouldn't enjoy her being a major antagonist at all.
Caught myself thinking about Chloe Bourgeois and my unpopular opinions about her (that redemption arcs are so expected in any mean character of any media that she is a refreshingly nuanced and interesting take on a character that refuses to take accountability and go through a redemption arc because she doesn't like the consequences that come with taking responsibility for her bad actions and that I very much prefer how her arc is unfortunately tragic in the original show). I am then shot 57 times.
People who don't like Adrien's new face just don't get it, he's giving androgynous, he's giving princess (quoting Marinette's grandmother), and I love it.
He also looks much more like his mom now. which I love so much since I like to headcanon that his father would often talk to him without looking at him bc he reminded him so much of Emilie.
As for the flat hair and wrinkled clothes, these are obviously temporary and a visual representation of Adrien's inability to move forward compared to the rest of his peers because of his father's passing. I can't wait for him to figure himself out, develop as a character, and get a makeover that will feel much more satisfying to see.
Is it obvious enough that I love Adrien/Chat Noir and that I'm obsessed with the Agreste family ?
Portrait of a father
I just watched El Toro de Piedra ! the animation seems to be even better in this episode ? I'd say it's on par with Climatiqueen which only excites me for what's coming next !!
The letter Gabriel addressed to Adrien broke my heart, I understand why Marinette didn't show it. I don't know if it's the best way to explain to him everything, especially since he doesn't express any regret in that letter about what he has done...The audacity to tell Adrien he should also pursue the miraculous lol ? But I feel like Adrien's getting closer to learning the truth
We also got a better understanding of the layout of his room. So the top floor is where he's supposed to sleep but since he's still figuring things out he didn't organise it yet.
I also love how this ep was constructed, the pacing was really good. First, the obvious parallel between Ivan and Adrien and their fathers. But also the fight sequence happening simultaneously with Juleka's song. They gave character dev/depth to not only Ivan but also Juleka, her singing was beautiful and I'm fully in love with her new look <3
ALSO can we talk about THE END SEQUENCE ? TF is that illuminati looking group ?? NATHALIE'S STILL EVIL ?? Look at thiiis
But it also makes sense, it was actually hinted and explains why Tomoe was collaborating with Gabriel. I remember her telling Gabriel in intuition "I want a better world".
But this also means that now we've got multiple grown ass billionaires beefing with Ladybug and Chat noir. Do you think Lila/Cerise is collaborating with them (which would bring her funding and support) as well, or is she working alone ?
i'd like to introduce my daughter Nuance to tumblr
