I realise there is only so much advice you can follow. Ultimately, you have to live. That means making mistakes. You can’t go through life expecting that wise words will be enough. Sometimes you have to suffer to learn the lesson.

ran out of pages in my notebook just at the end of summer. very excited to find this dingbats notebook that coincidentally is both green and keeps up with my deer theme! plus it has so much less ghosting than my leuchtturm (bless). third in my dynasty of green notebooks to start the school year off!
just like it’s important that we let people embrace and be flamboyant with their gender, we must allow people to have gender be a nonimportant part of their identity. a cis woman can love being feminine and claim her womanhood loud and proud, just like another cis woman can just be ‘whatever’ about it. a trans woman can be hyperfeminine and proud, while another can just say ‘yeah i’m a woman’ without it being a gigantic deal to her. a non-binary person doesn’t have to be constantly torn up about their gender identity to be non-binary. all experiences of gender are unique and valid in their own way.

여러분! 오늘 어땠어요?
Everyone! How was your day? Here’s my second Korean grammar lesson! Let’s learn the subject particle ‘는/은’! If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a message or leave a reply down below! Hope you enjoy~
A l l i s a y s : Here are the rules. All you have to add 는 after the object if the last letter of the last syllable is a vowel and 은 if the last letter of the last syllable is a consonant.
Here’s some examples:
v o w e l : 저 → 저는 (I) 👧
v o w e l : 친구 → 친구는 (friend) 🧑🤝🧑
c o n s o n a n t : 이름 → 이름은 (name) 📛
c o n s o n a n t : 학생 → 학생은 (student) 👩🎓📚
══════ ∘◦❁◦∘ ═══════
는/은 = subject particle
친구 = friend
선생님 = teacher
학생 = student
이름 = name
나 = I (informal)
너 = you (informal)
네 = yes, agreeing with the statement.
아니 = no (informal)
이름은 뭐예요? = What is your name?
저는 X 입니다 = I am X.
학생이에요? = Are you a student?
아니요, 저는 선생님이에요. = No (formal), I am a teacher.
아, 네. = Ah, I see.
