Honest question: Why do pop culture references work and get a laugh in things like Shrek, but in others they just come across as just being lame and forced? What makes a pop culture reference work?
i used to think i was unphotogenic then i found out i was just ugly
my blog is a museum where you walk around and look at the posts (beta)
a unity-based theme that loads posts from a blog and displays them in a 3d space
its still very much in beta, it only loads photo and text posts, doesn’t seem to work with posts made with the recent mobile update, has a weird flickering and is pretty glitchy overall
The most infuriating thing about the Tumblr purge is when you write something that’s nsfw, you can’t tag it as nsfw because then Tumblr auto-hides the post.
So…what do you do? Don’t post it? Don’t tag it? Tag it as “no t sa fe 4 worrrrk” or something equally obtuse?
It makes it impossible to post responsibly. :/
Necromancer: Did you know that dinosaur skeletons in museums are usually fake casts?
Someone: Did the Internet tell you that?
Necromancer: Nope, just a series of disappointing museum trips.

This might require an encyclopedic knowledge of Avatar characters to understand, but it’s pretty hilarious if you fall into that category.
