Haahhh…you know I’ll never understand how a person can ship NaruSaku romantically….I mean for Christ’s sake even Kishi trolls NS hard. 

He either makes Naruto dense when it comes to Sakura and/or her feelings (except when it involves Sasuke lawl) or gives NS a “shipper moment” (I use that term very loosely) and turns it into comedic relief:

Naruto didn’t even notice Sakura’s feelings at all.  He was all cheery and yelling Sakura-chan!!! Yet as we all know, it’s Sasuke who realizes that’s there’s something wrong with Sakura.  Furthermore, Sasuke is the one who cheers her up:

And notice in the panel with Naruto- he has a “question mark” above his forehead.  He’s still dense about Sakura’s “depression” and didn’t even realize Sasuke cheered her up.  

Now let’s go to FoD.  Sakura gets the shit beaten out of her and we all know who goes into avenger rage:

But now let’s look at Naruto’s reaction to Sakura’s beaten face:

…seriously? HER HAIR?!  That’s what Naruto focuses on? Not her beaten face but her haircut… Even Sasuke and Ino are like dafaq.  That’s so ironic.  Sasuke who “supposedly” has “platonic” feelings (according to some NS fans or even funnier- “hates Sakura”) for Sakura goes into a murderous rage because of her bruised face.  But Naruto who “supposedly” has “deep, romantic” feelings (albeit NS might say this was when Naruto only had a crush for Sakura- yet I’ll counter this point later) for Sakura worries about her hair…

Now let’s go to the hospital scene:

Look NS.  This is only one part of many other moments where Naruto sees and understands Sasuke and Sakura’s feelings.  He even walks away. You can tell Naruto was going to make a comical comment about Sasuke being knocked out or sleeping for days.  But look- he stops at “Sasuke..you….” He notices how serious this is from Sasuke’s, not Sakura’s, expression and right now, it’s not the time to joke- which is why Tsunade says he’s more sensitive than he looks. In a way, Kishi is telling us this SS moment is important (that even dense Naruto can catch on) especially to Sasuke. 

Let’s look at the difference between Sasuke’s reactions from Sakura’s hug:

In the very beginning, Sasuke says “Go away!! Don’t hug me!"  Then during the Waves mission, he tells her it hurts…not "don’t hug me."  Now the hospital scene, there is no reply at all! He just looks at her with this unidentifiable emotion in his eyes…if that’s not development for SasuSaku, then:

Now I know NS fans will say, "Part 1 is when Naruto had a crush on Sakura!!! Now it’s a deep and mature love in part 2!!”

First of all:

So now let’s go to Part 2 and see this “deep and mature love”:

LOLOL. The hell- who says “you look fine! You haven’t changed at all!” to their “one, true love."  That’s something you say to a friend you aren’t interested in lolol.  And before those NS fans goes up in arms about Sakura being interested in Naruto, Sakura just wants a guy’s (somebody she hasn’t seen for years but values his opinion) point of view.  There was nothing romantic about that question at all.  Because if there were something, Sakura would be sad/depressed about Naruto’s reaction.  She just replies, "You still don’t understand a woman’s mind."  That would have been a good time for Kishi to develop romantic NS if he was going that way.

And let’s not forget this too:

This was a beautiful start to what I call Kishi’s guide, "How to troll NS fans.”

Step 1: Build up a “romantic” moment

Step 2: Make one character confuse on how to respond from sheer shock, giving the illusion that NS will be canon

Step 3: Make the character realize this ship is BS.

Step 4: Shut it down

OR (alternative)

Turn it into comedy relief

(Let’s not forget that could have been like the SS hospital scene…where Sakura holds Naruto and clings on to him…but nope Kishi makes it funny).

(Sakura’s face looks more like an exasperated mother that needs to feed a struggling child.  And what’s even more funny was Sai and Kakashi ended up feeding Naruto LOL, NS just got Kishi trolled)

(There are so many other NS comedy trolls Kishi uses but I’m too lazy to find them all lol)

Basically, every time Kishi has a chance to develop NS, he kills it off with comedy.  Never ever did Kishi make an SS moment comical- it was always serious because the SS moments mean something (along with NaruHina’s hints).

The Real Hospital Ending!

To finally clearify the whole third ending issue: I found this article where Michel Koch (Co-Director and Writer on Life is Strange) talks about the heavily discussed Hospital Ending.

And this is really interesting because they considered not letting Chloe die and instead leaving her in a coma.

“It wasn’t a third ending. It was when we were in the writing process, we were hesitating between when you make the choice of sacrificing Chloe to save Arcadia Bay, we were hesitating between really killing Chloe like we did and maybe leaving her in a coma to offer hope that she could still be alive. But ultimately, when we were writing, we thought that it wasn’t a good decision to go this way, because it would reduce the impact of your choice. So if you’re making the choice of sacrificing Chloe, we shouldn’t make a cop-out and we should go all the way to really offer an end.”

Chloe would’ve survived that.

A chance for Chloe and Arcadia Bay to be saved.

Eveything would’ve turned out great. For everyone.

David would still be the hero who arrested Nathan. Nathan would still get punishment and hopefully mental help. Jefferson would still get busted by Nathan and go to jail. Rachel would still be found and get her justice. The Prescotts would still lose their reputation and control over the town due to this scandal. Kate would still not try to commit suicide. Victoria, Frank, Pompidou and everybody else in the town would still be alive.

And the most important part: Chloe would still be alive. Chloe and Max would still be together. They would still have a second chance. They could still take over the world like they’ve always dreamed of.

Imagine Max sitting in the bathroom,  crying and thinking she just let Chloe die and then…

… surprise!…awaking in the new timeline, realizing she’s sitting at Chloe’s hospital bed. She’s still by Chloe’s side.

*insert fan art*

No Storm. No Guilt. No Regrets. But still full of amazing memories she doesn’t share with the Chloe in this timeline. Not yet. But they will become real once again.

I like this outcome even more than the Max sacrifices herself version. It’s way more logical regarding the time-travel/destiny stuff, and just too ironic that Max went through everything for nothing. Because Chloe was never meant to die.

so back in high school i was in the class for “troubled kids” and there were like maybe 7 kids in there. there was one punk kid in it and i remember when i got my first denim vest he got excited and just ripped a patch off of his and was like “here is something to add to it” and i always thought it was so sweet and wholesome

How I Teach Men Not To Talk Over Me: from one feminist to another, when basic respect is lagging and conversations are impossible

I’ve done this to several men, and they catch on rather quickly. You’ll be able to have a conversation right then and there, and it works long term too - they might’ve forgot their manners by the time you talk to them again, but by repeating this, they’ll eventually learn to let you talk without you having to do this at the start of every convo. Source: I have a very stubborn older brother, who eventually learned too.

1. When they interrupt you, stop talking. Don’t try to raise your voice or battle them. Be completely quiet and wait.

2. Ignore everything they’re saying. Do not actually listen - just wait until they shut up. Don’t make a point of anything they say, do not answer to anything they say, do not refer to anything they say here. Literally do not listen a single word. Let them rant as long as they want.

3. When they finally shut up and wait for your reaction, say: ”I wasn’t done talking.”

4. Start over whatever you were saying when they interrupted you. I don’t care if it was a 10-minute explanation of rocket science. Start. Over. Repeat you original thought, but do not add anything related to what they just said while talking over you. That gives them the idea that it’s okay to interrupt you, you’ll still listen and pay attention and they’ll get their point clear without having to listen to yours. (It’s especially funny when you get done and they expect you to keep going talking about whatever they talked over you. The face when it sinks in that you didn’t listen a single word is glorious.)

5. If they interrupt you again, return to step 1. If you find yourself repeating the cycle over 3 times, tell them: ”you’re not letting me speak. Either you listen and wait for your turn, or our conversation ends here.” If they try to make excuses, laugh it off or keep interrupting, end the conversation. Prove them that if they wont let you speak, they’re not worth your time.

Why does this work? First, because sometimes talking over is internalized and men don’t actually notice they’re doing it. Being vocally called out makes them realize it and pay attention to it - especially if it happens more than once. Secondly, by refusing to aknowledge anything they say when they interrupt you, they’ll soon realize they will not get their own point across if they keep doing that. Peoole and especially men have the need to be heard and paid attention to when they talk - when you make it clear that by talking over you, they will not have your attention, they’ll learn to wait until you’re done, because they know that’s when you will be paying attention and actually listening.

Go my darlings. Have some actual conversations where your point of view is just as valid as his. Demand the basic respect of being heard. You can actually have some interesting conversations with men when they’re forced to listen too, when being louder is not going to make them feel like they’re dominating the conversation or winning the argument.

Did everyone just bypass the fact that Luke wanted Clem to stay with him?
