With recent re-release of The Sims 1 and The Sims 2, I decided to fix my UC install (yay!) and return to an old project! It's been a couple of years but I learned how to edit sims 2 lighting, and thus I decided to get Radiance lighting closer to what I've always been expecting of it.
For now, only night has been significantly changed, but I plan to apply this to all the weathers and times of day, as well as make the time of day switch just a bit smoother.
Keep reading for some more details:
For now, this is what I've done, but for example, day is too bright, and there's still way too many shadows during overcast. There's not a lot to be done (day, morning, evening, overcast, winter, spring and autumn all have their own modes, besides the night, which I just finished) and it's easy to edit and test this (just keep reloading the lot), so I think it will most likely take just a couple of days to finish it.
Will keep you posted on this one.
Conversion of everything from the Sims 4 Party Essentials kit.
Key features:

A big thank you to @platinumaspiration and @lordcrumps for their participation and @cora626 for testing! And a special thank you goes to @gummilutt for kindly adding her modding magic to the fog machine đȘ
Compressed, meshes merged with recolors, clearly labelled, picture and collection file are included.
Some days ago @extyara sent me some food clone packages and I was able to make food replacements even for the food I don't have in my game (I don't have all the EP).

This is a 4to2 conversion from Somik&Severinka, low poly when empty and high poly when they are full (12k each). These 6 tables works like the buffet table in game but they have 10 different food on them. Expect for the Master file, they are all slaved each other so you need to have everything in your download folder for them to work properly.

MISE Ă JOUR DU PACKAGE DU ACR - Controller - Main

Hi there y'all! Since the last update for The Sims 4, burglars are back (10 years later-), and with them, a nice burglar alarm. This item got my attention and I wanted to port it to The Sims 2, but I don't had the game installed because ~Hard Drive Space issues~. However, I found the model out there, so I decided to port it finally!
I've found a few problems with it at the time to port to The Sims 2. For example, originally the led screen was attached to the green/red led, with no editions at all, which made the entire alarm to look green! Then, my second option was to simply edit the mesh and add it over the base alarm, so yeah, behind the led screen theres the actual turned off alarm, very clever! So I believe that if you didnt paid your bills and they cut the lights, I think the turned off screen wil be shown instead (didn't tested).
(The video is an old version with no glow)
It will switch between blue and orange (depending if a burglar activated it or not), however, sound effect couldn't be replaced with the TS4 version. If the cops arrives in time, the alarm will be deactivated and switch back to blue.
In order to make it functional, you'll need to download the Custom Burglar Alarms by MidgetheTree, otherwise, it's just a nice paperweight with no use :)
Description:
A state-of-the-art Burglar detector that can be upgraded with all the fanciest features. Helps you sleep safe and sound, unless a Burglar is spotted. Also effectively wakes the whole family up, as it should. Very, very loudly. Buy one for any door the Burglar could enter from!
Mesh and textures were converted by me.

These are 4to2 conversions from GUA (tv - fridge), medium poly. Tv has two recolorable subset, one for the wood part and one for the games. It also has a slot so you can put a console on it. Fridge was original mini but I made it standard size.
