Yeah I’m Two Days Late But Don’t Worry About It

I used to like baby carrots too. Like, it was almost addiction, coming home after school and eating a whole bag of them while watching cartoons. Then, I got glasses, and suddenly, after a while, they didn’t taste as good as they used to. Now, I still eat them, but only drowned in ranch.

Now that I think of it, there is like two bags of them in my refrigerator now. And I got some ranch too. Let me just-

I went to go get a bag of chips

And walked upstairs with a bowl of baby carrots instead. 

I didn’t even know we had fresh veggies in the house, but I feel like I’m making the right decision here. 

Well, there goes my cheek and several fingers...

So when my sister and I were little, we would look at videos from YouTube, and this one caught me and my sister's eye. It's called harmonic dream, and we loved it. There is another one called pipe dream, but we loved this one better. This is one of the things that made me into the person I am today.

my parents didn't pay the power bill. like a few years ago. (I was 8 or 9) I was taking a shower too. so I almost slipped. and it wasn't that dark out yet so we stayed outside until like 9. after I finished my shower. after that I sat in darkness with my dog. (because candles make me sneeze 9 billion times.) and it started raining. and while it was raining my grandparents paid the power bill. but the rain made out power actually go out. so we where without power for like 9 or 10 hours.

Ooh, that's bad. Hopefully your parents remembered to pay the power bill from now on.

WALT DISNEY PRODUCTION WORKERS NEED YOUR HELP!

Hey fam! The Mouse is refusing to recognize the unionization efforts of its production workers. If you're not familiar with what PAs or PMs do, I'll outline it briefly. The tl;dr is that NO ANIMATION WOULD GET DONE WITHOUT PRODUCTION WORKERS. They are the glue holding together every single production of your very favorite cartoons!

They take notes in all the meetings with the artists.

They make sure the artists are meeting their deadlines (and showing up to the meetings in the first place).

They help us navigate studio servers to find the files we're looking for.

They send us our time cards, and make sure we get paid!

Production workers do all this and more, often for minimum wage. The hardships that they suffer as a result--the long hours, the unpaid overtime, the abuses of power--are horrific.

You'd really think that they'd be compensated fairly for these jobs! Can you imagine trying to live in Los Angeles or New York on minimum wage with a job that definitely won't allow you time to pick up a second or third one??

This has to stop, and you can help.

All that Walt Disney Animation Studio's production workers ask is that you add your name to this petition! That's it.

I think that too! CinemaSins used to be fun to watch, cause you could see the mistakes that a movie could have. But recently, it's just the same dumb jokes and one-liners and has become stale. CinemaWins though has that childhood innocence, and talks about stuff that some people would just brush away, like the music, editing, and even the research that the people who aren't the main characters and directors do throughout the entire movie making process.

Alright this is rly sad but here goes. I started doing my once-in-awhile bot purge from my followers list. And. I used to be able to just quickly scan and see the bots. They were the ones with default icons and generator-sounding names like "noun-girl-827". And if you weren't sure, you could click on the blog and it would be immediately obvious it was a bot because there's either just bad porn click bait, or nothing there.

Well. This time I had to give up immediately because I got like ten followers down the list and was having immense trouble figuring out who's a bot and who's real. Never ever used to see this but like 5/10 of the first few followers I checked on had just totally empty blogs. It wasn't until I'd already blocked 2 - assuming bots bc empty blogs - that I thought to check if they had any likes. And bam! There it was. All of their user activity.

We have people on this website now who have never reblogged a single post.

Y'all, I'm sure you're sick of seeing "you have to reblog thing" but you literally have to reblog things. That is how this website works. You understand that, right? How do you think the post you hit "like" on got in front of you? It wasn't because you liked enough things and Tumblrs algorithm figured out what you like enough to hand it to you. It's because you followed someone, a human person, who reblogged that post. And it came from another person who also reblogged it.

You are killing this website by refusing to interact with it in the way that makes it better than the other websites you ran from to come here.

Anyway, I'm sure you're all nice people, but I'm not going to play the "bot or not" game if you have an empty blog I'm going to block you.
