One Fresh, No Fresh (Chapter 7)

Hey Guys! I’m sorry I haven’t got to write a story all year (lol, new year pun) but I couldn’t get this chapter done, due to my dad having surgery. He’s fine now, and now I got the courage to write the story again. Oh, and the nightmare was based off of Alaina’s comic, MommaCQ. This page is where it is based off from. Now without further ado, lets get in the story!

After crying for 20 minutes, CQ and Fresh separated, both beaming in joy. Chuckling, CQ turned to Asy, saying, "You were right. I would like one of your guests."

Asy couldn't help himself, he laughed, falling on the ground while doing so. He tried speaking, but couldn't. Shaking her head, CQ pointed to Alaina, asking Asy, "And who is she? A friend of yours?"

Knowing that Asy wouldn't get up, Fresh walked toward Alaina, saying, "Nah, ma. Uncle Asy barely knows her. Actually," He picks up Alaina's hand, which has her engagement ring on her finger, "She's my fiancée."

CQ's jaw dropped, her face in complete shock. Then, she squealed, running up to the couple, saying, "Oh my gosh, really? Congrats! When's the wedding?"

Fresh and Alaina looked at each other, before turning toward CQ, saying, "We don't know."

"Really? Well, don't worry. I could help.. uhh..."

"Alaina," Alaina replied, going up to the mother to shake her hand, "Alaina Prana."

"Crayon Queen, but you can call me CQ."

Alaina, after she was done shaking CQ's hand, said, "So, your the one who took care of Fresh, huh?"

CQ giggled, saying, "Yup. He's my youngest, out of three boys. His brother's names are-"

"Yeah, I know," Alaina interrupted, "Error and Geno, right?" She turned back to Fresh, who nodded. "Yeah, I've heard them before. Fresh told me before we came here."

"Oh, okay." CQ said, smiling. Then, she gasped. "Oh, Fresh? When are you thinking of meeting your brothers?"

Fresh's eye sockets widened. He forgot all about that. Then, he shrugged.

Alaina looked at Fresh, before turning to CQ, saying, "We haven't planned that either. Sometime soon, we hope."

After a few more minutes of talking, they decided that they were going to have Fresh meet them the next night. They would've done it earlier, but Fresh didn't feel like it, (He actually was so nervous about it, that even Alaina could hear his bones rattling) so they decided to reschedule it. They were going to do something to Error and Geno, similar to how they introduced Fresh to CQ.

After planning the meeting, Fresh, Alaina, and Asy went home. Then, after dinner and watching a movie, Asy told them that it was time to take his pills, and since they made him drowsy, he was going to go to bed. After saying goodnight, Fresh made sure that the TV was turned down lower, before he snuggled up with Alaina.

Fresh looked around. Where was he? Blackness surrounded him. Why was he here?

Suddenly, he felt something push him, and he fell on the... carpet? He looked up, seeing Error with glitches in his eye sockets. He was getting closer and closer.

Soon enough, Error was right in front of him, his fist raised, yelling out, "You dirty rotten-" But before he could finish, Geno suddenly walked behind Error, holding Error's hand still, whimpering, "P-please. Stop."

Error gave a sigh, before saying, "Okay, Geno, you win."

Fresh went to stand up, but saw Geno falling down. He went to catch him, but he couldn't move. He saw Error turning around, asking if he was okay, and what should he do.

Suddenly, Fresh heard Geno give a pained yell, before suddenly turning to dust. He sat there, staring at his dust.

"YOU!"

Fresh jumped, seeing Error, errors covering his eyes.

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"

Error starting hitting and kicking Fresh. Fresh didn't want to fight his brother, so he covered his head, hoping to have some protection.

"HE WILL STILL BE ALIVE IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU!"

"USELESS"

A kick, cracking his ribs and sternum. Fresh can't breath.

"STUPID"

A punch on his skull.

"SOULLESS"

A foot stomps on his arm.

"Wake up Fresh, wake up!"

"AHHH!" Fresh yelled, scrambling to get out of his captors hold.

"Fresh, it's okay. It's me, it's Uncle Asy!"

Blind by his panic, he didn't know that it was his Uncle, so he kept flailing.

Asy saw this, and started to hug Fresh tightly so he wouldn’t hurt Asy or himself, while Alaina (who told him about Fresh having a nightmare) started whispering to Fresh, telling him that everything was okay.

Soon, Fresh stopped struggling, just stayed still, sobbing in Asy's shoulder.

"Hey Alaina," Asy asked, "can you go make some tea? The tea bags are in the cupboards next to the refrigerator, the kettle is already on the stove."

After nodding, Alaina walked to the kitchen, starting on the tea. While waiting for the water to boil, Alaina sat down on a chair, thinking, 'What is his dream about this time? He was afraid of Asy, if the thrashing had anything to do about it. Maybe he had a nightmare about his brothers?'

Alaina's thoughts came to a halt when the whistle of the kettle started. After pouring the hot water in a cup that says 'be proud of the scars', she put the tea bag in the cup. A couple minutes later, she took the bag out, before using the string to empty out the water in the bag.

Walking out of the kitchen with the tea in her hand, Alaina walked toward Fresh and Asy, who were both talking to each other, giggling here and there. Placing the tea on the coffee table, Alaina says, "What are you guys talking about? Here's your tea, by the way."

Fresh took the cup, taking a sip. Placing it down, he swallowed, saying, "Thanks Alaina."

"We were talking about how Fresh was as a kid. Oh, you've should've seen him!" Asy replied to her question.

"Hey!" Fresh said, "What was I suppose to do? Lay around, hoping that I'll feel something?" Even though he sounded angry, a smile was still on his face.

Ignoring him, Asy told Alaina, "Everyday, no matter what, he would watch anything on TV. And when I meant anything, I mean ANYTHING. One day, he would watch a documentary about poisonous spiders, the next he would watch SpongeBob!"

While Fresh covered his face, a purple blush on his face, Alaina giggled at the though of a tiny Fresh watching a documentary on a dangerous creature, and laughed even more. After a few minutes of laughing and finishing tea, Fresh and Alaina started getting tired, so after Asy bid them a good rest of the night, Alaina cuddled with Fresh, falling asleep for the rest of the night with no nightmares.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.
