MangaSuna Week - Day 1

Day 1 - Confession

After a long day of hero training, a long, hot shower was something Setsuna loved most. To scrub off all the progress and hard work off her skin was so relaxing, she wanted to stay in the shower for hours if she could. But of course, her classmates needed one too, so she couldn't.

Setsuna walked out of the shower with clean clothes on her body, the shower steam trailing behind her. Now it was time to go to her dorm and get a good night's sleep, just like always.

"Setsuna!"

Or maybe not... Setsuna turned around.

"Yeah?"

Manga stood in front of her, "can I talk with you? Like, outside?" Setsuna heard snickers around the wall; Manga fiddled with his hands nervously. "Uhm, privately?"

Setsuna smiled, "sure."

Setsuna followed Manga outside the dorms on the covered patio, she could hear her classmates bicker on the inside. Specifically Monoma, but that was nothing new in the life of class 1-B.

"So..." began Setsuna, "you called me here because...?"

"I wanted to confess something."

Well that hit hard... "um, okay... go ahead."

"Thanks, uhm..."

The awkwardness loomed over the two hauntingly, and the wind was bitterly cold.

"How do I put this?" Manga stared at the floor, "I, um... I... I like you, Setsuna! I've liked you for a really long time and I understand if you don't like me back! I just felt like you needed to know!"

And with that, Manga sped away - literally. Setsuna watched him run inside the class 1-B dorm and down the hall towards the boy's dorms.

Setsuna stood outside in the cold alone; she began to shiver. But the temperature wasn't running through her mind at that moment, what was running through her mind was Manga's confession.

MangaSuna Week - Day 2

Day 2 - Heartbeat

"Can we go back?"

"This isn't even scary."

"Setsuna, you're literally shaking."

“Says you.”

Manga gripped Setsuna's arm tightly, the floor creaking below their feet as they walked made his heart beat even faster. The wait for a jumpscare was more terrifying than the actual scare...

"Oh, come one, Manga! There's nothing to be afraid of-"

A man with a bloody mask and a chainsaw was all they needed to see to end up bolting down the haunted house corridor.

"I hate this! I take back everything I said about there being nothing to be afraid of!"

"Sestu! I see a light!"

And with the literal scare of their lives, they made it to safety; where there was sunshine, clouds and bustling crowds of a theme park.

Manga touched Setsuna's neck and felt her pulse: ba-dum! Ba-dum! Ba-dum!

“Your heart beating really fast...”

Setsuna smiled wryly, "want to go on the ferris wheel?"

Manga's heart beated hard against his chest. "Actually, I was thinking we go somewhere else." The two began walking.

"Oh? Where?"

Ba-dum! Ba-dum! Ba-dum!

Manga soon realized that it wasn't the jumpscare that made his heart beat so fast...

"The tunnel of love, maybe?"
