My favorite flavour of shipp is the one where both can see themselves in eachother, "yeah we both have problems that are similar but not exactly equal, they maybe even can be oposites in some way", or "yeah we have similar backstories but ended up in different sides/ways"

Some relationship that force the characters to rethink about everything they were taught/believe because they were forced to experience something entirely out of their concept of world, something that can change their views, for better or for worse.

Something that makes them angry, something that makes them so uncomfortable because that another someone existence is triggering the fact they could be different. They could be them in another circumstances.

Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! Yes!!! Queer platonic relashionship aren't a "level up or down" from friendships or romantic relationships, arent "just" a relationship without something more like romance or sex, and its frustrating how a lot of people just cant grip this concept, or TRY to explain while don't knowing anything.

Again, you don't have to understand!! Just respect!!!

I have a major soft spot for queerplatonic rships where at least one party is actually able to be attracted to the other. Queerplatonic ships where it's not "I would be in love with you if I was allo/gay/straight/bi/etc" but instead "I could be in love with you but I'm not because that's not the right relationship for either us and we're unbelievably happy with what we have."

Queerplatonic relationships are always treated as second string to romantic relationships, with an implication of "this relationship would be romantic if it could be", and that sucks. They're their own relationship, completely distinct from romance, and deserve to be treated as such.

The thing with Ink is, he does what he does not because he WANTS people to live in misery, he doesn't look at other's people pain and just, shruggs and call it a day, Ink isn't indifferent.

But they have a purpose, a thing that matters, and he cant just take away people's purpose just because he feels sad for them, THAT would be selfish. Ink knows more than others, he sees through the story itself, but its a shame others cant have this knowledge too, he wish they could.

And looking this through neurodivergent glasses hit different, you wish people could see what you see, sometimes because it's beautiful and it's a shame you see them stuck in their little boxes, and sometimes you feel like they are happier fitting inside that box, and maybe you would be too.

My Interpretation of Fell!Ink!

Inspired by a conversation about fell variants with friends of mine. We really weren’t happy with the most popular depiction of Fell!Ink this fandom produced, so I took it upon myself to make my own version!

Some facts about this design and my interpretation’s personality:

The first colours this version experienced were yellow and red instead of yellow and green

The grey undershirt is inspired by the meaning of Ink’s white undershirt in his original design. Where that symbolized the emptiness and lack of soul he tries to hide but always shows through, this shirt symbolizes how fell!ink is even MORE morally grey than his canon counterpart (somehow).

The red splotches on their pants are just paint, but Ink likes that it looks like blood.. in a “15 year old on deviantart making their tragic wolf demon OC” way

Is quite fond of more “angsty” AUs

His scarf producing ink blobs at the top was inspired by how canon fell sans’s jacket sort of “flames up” when using his magic

The darker black colour (I refuse to use pure black) is, on top of being just an Underfell Colour™️, because of how ink itself is primarily black

The “scary face” fangs are permanently visible (it’s an intimidation tactic)

I liked the idea of his scarf going from a lighter to a darker colour instead of a darker to a lighter colour this time. In fact I’ve inverted quiet a few visual elements of the design in that way, most notably the direction of the v-shape on his over shirt thing

This Ink is a lot more open and upfront about seeing everything and everyone as nothing more than fictional characters, and as a result doesn’t really care about anyone else. Only looking out for themselves in such a “kill or be killed” multiverse. Even canon Ink cares more than this guy does.

Still a mischievous prankster, though his pranks are much more mean spirited. He’s an intentional jerk instead of canon Ink’s more unintentional jerkiness.

Much more quick to jump to physical fights when encountering a threat, but still doesn’t go out of his way to be unnecessarily violent. His scarf is torn because of those more frequent fights.

Though not pictured, his tongue is black instead of rainbow. But he still has the rainbow blush and happy freckles! (will not let anyone see them though)

The Delta Rune on the tip of Fountain Pen Broomie (Fountie?) is just a result of that being how I draw Broomie normally 😅. You can change that part of the design if you’d like

Hi, Kiana! I really liked your pilot episode! The writing was so funny and charming. I am having a hard time inserting the themes of my short film into script naturally. Can you share how your writing process goes?

I usually write out the goal of the episode, bullet point every key part I want to happen, go in and take out anything that feels unimportant, reassess, go in and write the dialogue, make sure every line is either moving the story forward or is at least funny/tells you something new about the character, go back in and cut anything that isn't useful and then finalize

for this pilot, all i wanted to set up was how aika and zira met, that aika is running away from her duties/hoshi and introduce eclipse and hint that there's a bigger threat (devoid). in my earliest pass of doing the bullet points, there were extra beats of aika being in awe of school but i feel like you get the idea from her having fun doing her test, her opening dialogue, being excited by the fire drill and awful cafeteria food etc. anything else would have been meandering and take away from time spent getting to know other characters (aika and zira's friendship being set up was the most important part of this pilot to me).

having a clear goal and trimming stuff down is REALLY important when writing. i feel like sometimes people will write a funny bit or go into a script trying to force in a line of dialogue that they really want a character to say without considering how it services the story. if you're consistently doing that, you might lose the flow or even theme of the episode. don't want your episode to feel bloated with extra stuff!

this is just my advice as a board artist/director in 11 minute children's comedies. there's different goals when it comes to different genres~

I've been thinking about what the exact dosage cycle of Ink's vials is, so let me infodump my interpretation here :3

-It's said in the FAQ and in certain #inkechos posts that he drinks a >little bit< of each vials in order to find a balance between all of the colors that act in his body at the same time. Based on this, i would theorize that he needs to take them in every 4/6/8 hours (putting in mind how the dosage needs to be a divisor of 24, since it needs to complete a whole day cycle). I'm leaning more towards to a 6 hour cycle because he doesn't have much paint in his body at the same time, so, theoretically speaking, that would cause the effects to not last for long.

Let's say his vials are able to hold 60 ml of paint in each bottle (480 ml in total). That means Ink would need to take a dose range of 7,5 ml of each (8 in total) bottles in every 6 hours. (7,5 times 8 equals 60)

I choose a dose of 7.5 ml because it's the equilavent of 12.5%, which results in 100% when multiplied eight times. But that would also mean he needs to take them 4 times a day and four times 60 equals a daily dose of 240 ml, and that means his vials only last in a period of 2 days.

(this is actually based on how i balance my meds lol)
