So I dunno if you’ve already spoken about this or not (I’ve desperately tried to catch up on your timeline but MAN there’s a lot of asks lately lol), but what’s your opinion of Gran Torino? Because I see a lot of BNHA fans absolutely roasting him and I don’t really get why? I actually really like him as a character, and was surprised to see so many people hating on him, especially during the current arc in the manga. Sure, he roughed Deku up a bit during his internship thing, but it wasn’t any worse than what he goes through at school (it actually seemed like a bit of a break in comparison, really). But yeah, just curious on your thoughts??

Yeah we’ve been on a roll with answering shit lately.

Gran is, in my opinion, kind of in the same category as Recovery Girl. Like obviously a decent hero in their day (motivations aside), obviously have a lot of information and skills still to be passed on to the next generation, but they both absolutely have poor execution on a lot of things.

I am, in general, not fond of how most of Izuku’s personal teachers treat him.  But I do know that some of the Gran Torino salt seems to focus on his back story and issues with Nana and Gran’s outlook on things.

I’m gonna be real with you though, I don’t really care about him all that much. Like he gets ghosted and the only reason why it would upset me would be if it upset Izuku or All Might.  I can take him or leave him.

Her pops, on her other side, was holding onto her shoulder, talking with uncle Stan, ushering her closer any time Ellie slightly stayed from his side.

Awkwardly, Manon extended her hand in an offer to help her up from her cowered position. Cassia’s stare immediately glued to the razor sharp nails curving wickedly from her pale fingers.

“I won’t hurt you,” she repeated again, cursing the touch of shame that sent a pang down to her very core. Since when did she feel bad about her terrifying exterior?

Cassia visibly swallowed, nodding hesitantly before accepting Manon’s hand, her body so light Manon barely had to exert any energy pulling her up.

“Um, I-” she stammered, timidly meeting her gaze. “Thank you for not killing me.”
