So me and @jav-animations made a game we like to play in whiteboard fox, which involves us each rping as a character, sending the dumbest memes/clips we have on hand to each other via DMs, and drawing the most unhinged expressions known to humanity. In this week's episode, our contestants are Jav's incredible oc Trix (played by her ofc!) and her lovely husband Peppino (played by me).

The only kind of ship I truly ever enjoy seeing...

honestly there's something so liberating about people shipping their ocs/self inserts with canon that's really refreshing to see. It's people being themselves, and at peace with themselves and at the same time showing the love to (insert the character of honor here).

Not that there's anything wrong with canonXcanon either, but I've just grown up seeing it so much and I never got the hype for shipping in the first place...? I mean I guess it's a me problem idk. I don't hate it by any means or dislike people who make canonXcanon stuff, I'm just kind of neutral abt it and it gets boring to me after a while (yes I know... shameful of me).

I'm speaking from the art world, not the fanfiction world btw, so keep that in mind as well. I have read one or two self-insertXcanon out of curiosity but I could never really feel immersed bc the fic would "miswrite" me XD I think that's because the writer is projecting themselves more than anything and hey! I got to give them credit for doing that. Honestly just be yourself when creating and have fun, that's all that matters to me. Do it for yourself, not for "what people want from me".

Anyway!!

I wish all people with ocXcanon ships, self inserts, and the like the happiest life with your blorbos 💕💕💕 people who say otherwise only wish they had what you guys have. Keep writing, keep creating, keep imagining. You guys are the backbone of the entire world.

^^^ I second this. As someone who's admittedly a little too ok with sharing their F/Os, I think clumping all people who are nonsharing and demonizing them is not the way to go here. Being a nonsharer does not inherently make you bad or annoying, you are allowed to feel pain and discomfort over sharing. As long as you do not actively harrass and attack other users you are allowed to feel how you feel, express yourselves, and vent about your emotions.

"Well, why can't I vent over nonsharers? Aren't I allowed to feel bothered too?" You don't understand, it's more than just "bothered". It's painful. For many, the idea or image of their f/o with someone other than themselves gives them a deep personal pain. Thats why people vent, because of the pain. Does the existence of nonsharers give you a deep personal pain, or is it just annoyance? Either way, consider blocking, moving on, and keep the complaints about them to yourself. It's healthier for everyone involved.

That being said, nonsharers get behind me. I'm ready to take a bullet for y'all ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
