a reminder to all writers out there, you’re a human, not a machine

it’s okay to be frustrated with your works

it’s okay to be exhausted

it’s okay to have a writer’s block

it’s okay to just want to take a break for a while

it’s okay if some days you can only write one paragraph

it’s okay if some days you can only write a sentence or two

it’s okay if some days you can’t write at all

every single writer has gone through all of these challenges, but the thing is that it passes. none of these struggles last forever. so be kind to yourself. you’re doing fine, I promise.

Unpopular opinion,

Too many men are written as “dom daddy” types in fics.

Like be for real, that man would be honored to be your floor mat.

He’s not giving orders, he’s taking them.

Sokka: No, no, bumi is only 2 years old, and izumi is 5 months. And we have been babysitting a lot....

Sokka: Yeah, ok. We can't try for kids till you admit you have baby fever

1 week later~

Sokka: Oh, hey firefly....I was just finishing these reports and-

Azula: OK, fine, I have baby fever. Now we can have a baby.

Sokka: Wow. You really said that, uh.

Azula, walking over to him and grabbing his arm and walking towards the door: Baby. NOW.

Can we have the director's cut for Perfection pretty please?

I’ll take this as an opportunity to talk about… a few things, while holding enough to say in the final Thank You chapter.

So, in my mind, this series WAS the definition of a snowball growing bigger and bigger. The first thought was just a one-shot, Stressed-Azula, Stress-Reliver-Sokka fic.

and it grew from there.

I was flying by the seat of my pants for the first 4 chapters, but by chapter 5-6, I had a good plan for the longer story.

My favorite chapter is between chapter 8 or 10… I think. I love all of them for different reasons.

My favorite SCENE… might have to be… a lot from chapter 8. Maybe the smut scene from chapter 8.

but I also LOVE Sokka snapping at Ozai in chapter 10… there’s a lot.

I’m working on the next chapter. It can be considered the calm before the storm in a positive way.

I think the hot new trends for this summer should be reading comprehension and critical thinking skills

Anytime people talk about Zuko and Azula working together, they always make her an advisor. Advisor Azula this, advisor Azula that. HOW ABOUT MERCENARY AZULA AND SPY AZULA.

There would be an assassination plot that Zuko wouldn't know about, but by the time he finds out Azula has nipped everything in the bud, gathered information, and disposed of everyone.

She doesn't work for Zuko personally and always demands payment after, but Zuko appreciates her efforts.

He's always put off by her quickness, thoroughness, and connections. He always ask where she gets her info but she never tells. She just tells him to be grateful that she helps him at all and then vanishes like Batman.

Some idiot: "Why are you reading your own fic, that's shallow and stupid"

All fanfic writers and writers everywhere: "Who the fuck do you think I wrote it for?!"

things i needed to hear in health class:

puberty might make you squishier and its ok

vaginas have a smell and it’s a ok

all kinds of people with all kinds of bodies have gr8 sex

genitals do not all look the same and variety is rad

people have stretch marks sometimes

people have pimples on their butts sometimes

people have cellulite sometimes

gender =/= sex

sex =/= scary danger FEAR

bodies aren’t scary or gross or sacred 

everything is ok
