I’ll never understand why it never did so well
How did Treasure Planet manage to come up with the greatest aesthetic in all human history? Victorian elegance plus space-age flair, with just enough dirt and grime and wear and tear to make it feel real? A combination of traditional and computer animation that perfectly embodies the movie's blend of old and futuristic? How does it get any better than that?
Trans masc Draco
(And headcannons)
•One of his parents taught him how to sew
•His brothers helped him during his transition
•Draco and his brothers wanted to start a band together but it didn't work out. (They're on good terms, it didn't end because of drama or smth)
•Draco made his costume
•When he was transitioning, his brothers basically gave him hand me downs because I'm not sure if their parents would be okay with Draco being trans. (Kid Draco has no drip-/silly/lh)

JUST LOOK AT HIM!!! My man is smitten, not sure if Lumi likes him back, but let him admire his drumming goddess😭 It’s too cute I swear, their dynamic and all
I watched too many documentaries where cheetahs call their siblings for help and cuddles.
Just realised that the “storms will come and storms will go, but Moominvalley will always be here” line fits perfectly into my mini analysis of the moominhouse (and Moomintroll’s bedroom window) resembling a lighthouse in Snufkin’s nightmare as, to him, it’s always been a beacon of light and warmth and security guiding him through the storms of life 🥺😭
snufmin shippers i need your opinion on this! i was messing around in my editing program and i was wondering if it sounds good?
💫To Be A Man💫
Thrilled I get to post my part of @ghostsharkpress ‘s transology zine before pride month ends. Our prompt was to recontextualize a formative childhood cartoon through the lense of transness/gncness.
These are thoughts I’ve had spilling around in my head for a while and seeing how important Treasure Planet was for me as a kid I thought it would be perfect. I always struggled with the fact I don’t really have any older male guide or figure to learn myself from so as a kid I tried to mimic the masculinity of shows or my peers. Growing older and wanting to step out of boyhood has really been a journey of self discovery and self worth and I’m really proud of the person I’m becoming.
I’m just gonna post here when I feel I want to because I’m not really commited to anything. But I hope anyone who sees it enjoys my drawings🙂
