A very quick note though: I don’t think children should always be held 100% accountable in these matters. For one, they often don’t understand the risks, that’s why they must be taught and educated, instead of accused, when they are found to be searching for/interacting with explicit content. Second, their upbringing is always a mayor factor and that’s why these things should be taught among parents too. To give them the tools meant to create a healthy and nurturing enviroment for their kids to feel safe in when puberty comes without calling first.

As hormone driven as you may be as a teenager, curious about all things 'adult', especially sex, please avoid looking into 'adult' stuff.

First, your mind is literally not ready to process said type of content, and there is also a chance that it still won’t be until much later.

A minor's mind is extremely impressionable. That doesn’t mean that it’ll be easy to surprise it, but to actually shock it, creating developmental trauma, as well as setting extremely harmful missconceptions regarding the extremely personal and intimate activity that is sex.

I have been there, I know curiosity at said period of your life often gets the better of you. You want to be an adult, a grown up, regarded as mature, sure, but is your brain ready for it?

The answer is that it shouldn’t (trauma often causes children to 'grow up faster' but that is an entirely different topic that still deserves attention).

Second, there is also the huge risk that you'll be putting yourself out there for predators to find you, then take advantage of you (this is a 18 page long pdf page article, open it in your browser to download it if you wish to read it), to victimize you from a tragically early age.

Please be smart about what type of content you search for and interact with on the internet.

Seek help if some shady person reaches out to you.

And if you really are that curious, please go to a responsible adult whom you can trust regarding your concerns. Awkward as it may be, it’s meant to be so much safer than the internet and by no means should you feel ashamed nor embarrassed for something that's just part of life.

Speaking of 'responsible adults'.

Adults on the internet have to be just as mindful when it comes to interactions with minors, I believe we are all equally responsible for ensuring a safe environment.
