ok ok ok so. concept.

batman tarot, the lovers and the devil. i'll post them side by side here:

putting it simply the lovers is about dualism, harmony, and love of many kinds. the devil is about habits, addiction, and indulging base desires. got it? dope

the lovers are martha and thomas wayne, the silhouette of their son between them holding their hands. the angel above them is a big zorro poster, and those trees line the warmly-lit streets of park row. i'm thinking warm colors in general: red brick, a sepia poster, golden light coming from the streetlamps

the devil is batman, who replaces zorro's position in the lovers card. instead of the waynes on either side of bruce, batman has a grave bearing each of the waynes' names on either side of him. before him, changed to his pedestal, is bruce himself. the colors here are cooler—all blues and blacks and greys. the background is stark black except for some stalagtites and bats at the top of the card
