I am…here’s what I have so far-will rewrite it when I rewatch the episode.

                “You’re not a mutant?” I asked before the poor guy soon fainted. “Well, then who’s-?” My question was answered by a pair of headlights shining from behind me. I turn in just enough time to see our real target right before it opened its jaw wide enough to swallow me in.

                I screamed just before it launched the top of the hood of it on top of my head, beginning to swallow me whole. I didn’t have enough time to react, too overwhelmed with the impossibility of Mutagen transforming an inanimate object into something ALIVE.

                I was forced into the dark, shallow depth. It felt like I was falling. Though I’m sure it was just me falling into place, right before something alive wrapped around me and pierced into my skin. Under my shell.

                My eyes widened and my mouth opened as strange sounds came out of my mouth. It was punping mutagen into my system. A different kind that only works if connected to this thing.

                It was turning me into its new driver.

                Time slowed down as I felt the strange mixture of metal and flesh enter my body before I cried out “Ah…” the Mutagen poured into my veins. “Ah…” my body began to shape into something… improbable.

                “AH!!!!”

                I was no longer in control of my body. My arms tore out of the roof of the car. Was that where I was in? My shell, along with something I did not recognize being there, felt the first breath of air as it tried to get my newly shaped head out of it.

                Once it did, I felt a strange new amount of adrenaline pour into my body. But it was not caused by me.

                I was being possessed.

                “MORE Mutant Power!!” It fueled through my throat. More animated than I have ever been or have ever recalled.

                “Donnie?”

                No…Casey…run!

                “Yeah Baby!” Who SAYS that? Oh LORD!

                A strange ‘heeheeh’ flew through my throat as the demon had fun with my body, controlling me and cranking the now strangely shaped car.

                What to do? What to do? I’m not in control of my body anymore. This is scary. I’ve NEVER NOT been in control of my body before.

                Well, except for the Wasp venom, and the said Pizza brain-washing us- if Mikey was really not dreaming, and that one time when…no…I wasn’t aware of what I was doing at that time though.

                I was a hostage this time.

                “You know what? I’m a sporting guy…so how about I make you a deal?” What was he doing?

                “If you win, you can have your FRIEND back! If I win, I get that super hot rod and all that SWEET tech-nology!” No…I thought, seeing where he was going with this.

                “Fine!”

                “And along with YOU Casey Jones! The only one worthy enough to control MY COMPETITION!” No, Casey…

                “It’s a DEAL!”

                NO!

                “The first one to Dead Man’s Curve…wins. Starting…” the engine started up. “NOW!!”

                Casey. What have you done?

                The Speed Demon turned my body to face him. Casey…what were you thinking? You know he was never intending on playing fair. What did you think? Both sides ended with me being discarded. Was that all you were thinking?

                “I don’t CARE about the race! I just want my FRIEND back!”

                If the moment would allow it, I would have turned to look at him. He really meant that. He wasn’t pulling my leg at all. Sure we were growing to just tease one another, but we barely ever voiced our feelings.

                But it was clear. This was the first time he called me his friend.

                Yeah, Raph and him were officially pals, partners in crime, the list is truly endless.

                But…me? A friend?

                My jaw then felt something inside of it, as though I’d been gagged with a wooden stick. Not just something to put in my mouth. Nope. My new mouth was so big it was easy to have a hockey stick through to the sides of my jaw.

Wait, this was his hockey stick. Wait, then that meant…

                …oh this is gonna hurt.

He yanked back and tore me out of the vehicle.

My body, no longer being fueled by the car’s mutagen, finally lost its shape and began to turn back to how I used to. Reshaping, recracking, reforming every portion of my body.

It was so painful I couldn’t even speak.

Luckily the pain had stopped as soon as I got back to my usual form. I stood up, I had to get up. Our battle wasn’t over yet.

“Donnie! You okay?”

“Yeh…I-I think so…” I answered, a little tiredly before the car lit up again, this time targeting MY friend.

But I wouldn’t let him.

“Leave MY friend alone!” I shouted, planting my staff to jam its jaw from snapping.

Unfortunately it knocked me onto my shell and completely shattered my staff with ease.

Fortunately, it was enough time bought for the guys to catch up to us and have Leo slam the van into the vehicle, with an additional “I’ll be ba~!” before exploding in an epic heap of green flames.

Yeah. Right.

With that cleared up and everyone finally safe on the streets, Casey and I exchanged a relieved smile and slammed our hands together.

We did it.
