Here’s a cool detail that’s easy to miss!

Leshy actually has two different “styles” of talking.

When he is just talking to the player normally, as one would talk to one another while playing a game, his text is standing still, aside from the flicker effect.

But when he is doing the lore narration for the game story he’s crafting, his text will be slightly swaying up and down.

Of course, even Leshy’s “regular” dialogue still contains pieces of the in-game meta lore of his personal take on Inscryption, but it’s still nice to see that there’s a visual indicator for when he puts on his “narrator” voice.

A variation of this can also be seen in Act 2, where Leshy’s narration will usually be in grey, while his regular talking is in black:

Rather than distinctly male or female, the human brain is much more like the heart, kidneys and lungs – basically the same no matter the sex of the body it's in.

Hi I came across your inscryption fanfic last night and I have to say I loved it! The way you wrote the characters are perfect, I’m really looking forward to the next update!

aaa thanks so much! ^^ i'm so glad you enjoyed it; due to me still coming down from spring finals and other such school stuff chapter 7's process has been a bit slower than the others, but i'm having some good fun writing it! leshy and grimora finally sit down and try some cardplay in this one and it's about as passive-aggressive as you'd expect haha
