Superb fairywren time! I've been trying to do some lower resolution pixel drawings because they seem a bit more achievable to cross stitch. The smaller canvas size is more challenging to work with but I think this one came out as a good candidate for a cross stitch project.
My dive into fiber arts continues with my first real sewing project. A pencil case as a much needed storage place for my crochet hooks. Entirely hand sewn because I didn't feel like getting the sewing machine out. It is so very rewarding to use My Own Hands to make a Thing that has Function.
I followed this tutorial. A good beginner sewing project imo.
Chat I drew this and immediately got covid.
trying a more scribbly style this time.
Some silly little guys I made as Christmas gifts.
I used this pattern as a base, but added my own modifications.
50/50 blend of dog fur and merino I spun for a friend of a friend. The blend was much easier to spin than pure dog fur (very short and slippery), though still a decent challenge. Never have I ever had a yarn so adamant about being spun short backward draw.
Arcane more like I'm insane
Some more jellyfish. Little ones this time. Pattern is my own.
I got some lovely fiber for my birthday. Natural brown alpaca (left) and dyed merino (right).
The singles, spun on the wheel.
Both of these fibers were gifts from different friends so I plied them together for the ultimate friendship yarn :3
Some lovely alpaca wool which was an absolute dream to spin. Grey is 100% alpaca and multicoloured is 50/50 alpaca and merino, and also my first attempt at blending wool :3
