The end has come, but the legend lives on forever. The final season of Voltron Legendary Defender begins streaming on Netflix December 14th!

There’s a reason lots of good parents say to babies stuff like

“You’re excited to go to the park!”

“Oh, it makes you mad that we can’t go outside.”

And then when the babies get a little bit older the parents can say

“You seem upset. Are you sad?”

“Are you excited that gramma is coming over today?”

Which lets the kid (who is learning to utilize speech) respond with yes or no, which may prompt more questions, like

“So you aren’t sad, are you angry?”

“Yes, does it make you happy when gramma is here?”

And then, finally, when the child is learning to use language in a more complex way, the parents can say,

“How does it make you feel?”

“Why are you feeling like that?”

And it’s all about teaching emotional awareness. I really reccomend using the process on yourself. Learn to ask, “am I happy?” “Am I sad?” “Am I anxious?”

Then practice identifying, out loud or on paper if you can, “I’m happy.” “I’m upset.” “I’m sad.” “I’m anxious.”

Final step: “Why am I feeling anxious? I’m still thinking about that awkward conversation earlier.” “Why am I happy? It’s such a beautiful day outside.” “Why am I sad? None of my friends are responding to my messages.”

It really helps you notice patterns (“I’m more likely to be happy when I’m around this person.” “When I haven’t eaten, I often feel angry.” “If I don’t plan ahead, I get anxious.”) which is the first step in avoiding things and people that are bad for you and encouraging things and people that are good.

Katsuki doesn’t understand what it is about fucking flowers.

Now, with blood a light splatter on his hands and the petals a gentle tickling in the back of his throat, constantly there but not enough to make him cough, he thinks he understands a little less.

In which Bakugou Katsuki is a bit of an idiot (and also very gay), Hagakure Tooru and Uraraka Ochako suffer (because of their choice in friends) and Todoroki Shouto is oblivious (as always).

“I’m going to be frank with you, Bakugou,” Todoroki cuts in sternly, preventing him from finishing his sentence. “I find it hard to believe you manage to get anyone in your bed with the garbage that comes out of your mouth.”

The prince’s fingers were cold, and his touch was firm but not rough—yet every brush of his skin against Izuku’s felt like liquid fire, dragging over and inside him. He had held himself together fairly well as the other guards had taken out their anger on him, but now he found himself utterly lightheaded. He swayed forward unsteadily, and had to grab onto the prince’s arms to keep from toppling into him.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered; his voice seemed stolen from him. “F-forgive—”

“Quiet…” Prince Shouto said, and Izuku’s voice truly left him. It belonged to the prince, now. “It’s fine. I’m checking to make sure you weren’t severely injured.”

“I’m not—” Delicate, Izuku wanted to protest. But if he did… surely, the prince would move away again. Would stop touching him.

Izuku did not want that, at all.

Months of cozy, domestic life lead to new challenges and realizations for Todoroki Shouto. Thankfully, Izuku is always there to remind him that he is never alone in anything.

“May I join you?” He asked, as if he didn’t expressly text Uraraka and Iida to hunt Midoriya down. Midoriya’s own phone had been off and Todoroki had silenced his own before coming. In a pinch, their friends knew where they were.

Even the life of a hero had to allow them this one night.

Or on the day of his father’s funeral, Todoroki Shouto loses his virginity.

Katsuki initially thought it was weird, albeit a little flattering, but the idea of it made Shouto’s blood rush and heat spread through his insides – so Katsuki complies. Shouto’s not really one to make his needs so readily available.

He loves Katsuki’s mouth. It’s filthy, brutal, honest - all snarls and curses and crushing kisses.
