I think it stems from a mixture of his streams being generally light with lore, he doesn’t really role play a whole bunch. That plus the disparity between fanon Techno and canon Techno as characters can tarnish his impact as a character. c!Techno is one of my favorite characters but I know that he isn’t as interesting or cool or complicated as people try to make him out to be, at least, not for the same reasons.

I would like his character if it wasn’t just anarchy and hating the government.

There hasn’t been much development with his character, he hasn’t changed throughout the story. It’s not bad to have a character that is consistent but he never changes, therefore it can be nearly impossible to develop a character this way. Techno writes his character to be indestructible, never going through much of a challenge and when he does it’s solved fairly fast.

Another problem is that his character has a giant victim complex, C!Techno never admits to his wrong doings. It’s usually very annoying and pretty much not needed in a lot of situations. An example could be when C!Tubbo got executed. CC!Techno does not allow for his character to develop on and off screen, which makes the character boring.

One more, the whole thing with anarchy and hating the government. There isn’t a government anymore, not that I’m aware of anyways, so without it his character is pointless. Even when the Techno and Tommy storyline was going on, even if was mainly around the disc, his character still had meaning afterwards.

In his recent stream he had a chance and yet didn’t take it, he had a chance to give backstory and let us see the further development of his and C!Philza’s relationship but no he decided not to.

I’m sorry this is so long and probably doesn’t make much sense but yea, C!Techno could be a much more interesting character if we just had more to go off of. I guess this is why people tend to focus more on Fanon!Techno which is fine.

Yea I made Purpled and Skeppy have a rocky relationship

Why you ask?

Because Purpled is an alien that Bad happened to catch the attention of first, and so Purpled grew really attached to the demon and loved undivided attention. Since Skeppy was able to get Bad away from Purpled he didn’t enjoy his presence

Did Purpled grow out of it? Kind of, he’s fine with divided attention now but still doesn’t enjoy Skeppy.
