Thought proces was driven by ,,If I were an ancient shepard, what features could I descirbe as the ones in Bible (and later art)?", also I love stained glass in churches and wanted to include the same feelings they gave me.

Angelymph- holy, glowing gas that allows angels to levitate in the air. On great heights angelymph fills entire body, making it glow like an alive star, near erath's surface special halo-shaped organs compress gas around ribs and edges of umbrellas.
Beak, no teeth, proved great method of air exchange during flight and making very wide range of sounds
Angels’ skin is very flexible, covered in soft scales and almost translucent (in areas where it’s thicker white color is visible)
Umbrellas (3x on head) are used for jellyfish-like motion while leg-wings make direction change easier
Muscle and bone tissue is blue,
Leg-wings work in way analog to bat wings, many people had mistaken them for white gown
No reproductive system and reduced pelvis (among many other bones), angels never fully stand on earth, they are delicate in struture
God’s eye, always open, the brightest element, looking at it could multiply human vision or induce hallucinations (especially among sinners)
Around 2.5 meters tall and 5 meters "wingspawn"

Falling: the only way to trully disobey God is by intentionally removing the All-Seeing Eye (works sort of like eating forbidden fruit for humanity). This gives angel (hereinafter referred to as demon) free will, but also quickly deprives angelymph, causing physicall fall.
Horns: are remains of umbrellas, soft membrane easily tears apart on surface and dies off. The same thing happens to leg-wings. This althought painfull is actually beneficial, allowing them to walk on bonetips.
Injures (marked red) never fully heal, causing neverending burning pain sensation. Most of the body tightness and hardens during healing, leaving demons small compared to their former selfs. Under 1.6 meters.
Body fluids: Abscence of angelymph is slowly replaced by normal blood , this mixed with blue organs and scales (it hardens like in exosceleton after molting) makes demon skin purplish-ash color.
Behaviour and look: Demons are way more eager to interact with humans, hence more close to reality depictions. This also caused them to adapt human clothing and fashion. Demons like modyfying their body, buying bodyparts from humans (they suprisingly match, and take demon colorations) or making metalic upgrades.

Human forms: Angels can disguise perfectly as anyone, delicate pulsating can be felt under forehead if you touch it in right spot.
Demons are easier to spot, they human skin is weirdly dead-looking and pale (compared to population, not necessarily white) And largest horn pair is not fully hidden.
Mortals shall shiver beneth my true form.

Discord awatars I made for my friend and their gf. It took way too long, about 3 weeks since I started (I drew only on weekends but still). Corners is space for their photos or other fun additions.
And a mildly infuriating experience i want to share: me:Here is a rough sketch showing basic positioning and style. Pls tell me if something doesn't suit you, because changing it is very easy on this stage, and gets progresivly more difficult later. her:it's ok/cool {git in Polish} me: Here is update with flat colors. -no response- (kind of my bad because i discussed glasses with friend and forgot to ping her) me: I finally finished it. Yipee! her: I think head to body ratio is normally obout 1/7, and here is 1/3.
Literraly it is the same or even smaller head size as in first sketch.
Maybe warp doors will have some story significance in deltarune, but I honestly like the idea of npcs helping you travel more, so here are my efforts to design them (thanks ribbit for inspo).
Ch1. Let's just calll her ms. Hazard. She's a pachisi game in light world (or other annoying luck-dice-based board game), and has a temper of middle shool kid who can't accept being defeated. She decided to help Fun Gang on a bet; she helps with transport for free, but if they fail to close dark fountain (die), all their belongings and inheritance is her. The actual transport device are animal pawns (last 3 she didn't sold to pay debts off). One of the heroes does teleporting animation, then screencut (to keep it short). After teleportation there is a small event of lucky or unlucky nature, mostly just narrator text.
Alt colors; casino, paschisi (aka.Mensch ärgere Dich nicht aka.chińczyk).Pawns with coresponding characters, pashisi board, pixelart.
Ch.2 Typin! Search bar! The personification of old people on the internet (nicer half). Seems like they stucked in seeing cyberworld like it was ~30 years ago. They uses old steam powered machines and are invertor and owner of teacup technology (correct me if I missed some fact in dt). They help you out of kindness and in travel cutscene (similiar to undertale) tell you anecdotes about ol'good times. Discussion is sometimes annoying, with them constantly mishearing and correcting everyone (did you mean..? google thingy).
