This cluster of stars shines like falling snow caught in the moonlight. This cluster, which is only about 500,000 years old, resides 8,000 light-years away in the Carina Nebula, and contains some of the largest and brightest stars seen in the entire Milky Way galaxy. 

Since the rate of star formation in galaxies like these is so rapid, they will eventually erode all the surrounding gas. These large stars burn their fuel so ferociously that they will explode as supernovas in just a few million years. 

Their explosions will release material that, when combined with nearby gas and dust, will start a brand-new generation of stars.

A Retreating Thunderstorm at Sunset : What type of cloud is that? This retreating cumulonimbus cloud, more commonly called a thundercloud, is somewhat unusual as it contains the unusual bumpiness of a mammatus cloud on the near end, while simultaneously producing falling rain on the far end. Taken in mid-2013 in southern Alberta, Canada, the cloud is moving to the east, into the distance, as the sun sets in the west, behind the camera. I'm trying very hard not to get parasocial about Amber Heard because I think it's a bad practice with any celebrity (if anything, D*pp stans have shown us parasocial relationships at their very worst). However, I can't help but feel emotional watching that video of her accepting flowers from her supporters. (Link here: https://twitter(dot)com/jxxxsq/status/1530577392711892995) She's been through so much these past few years and she looked so relieved and touched to see that people DO support her. I hope she gets the justice she deserves, and I sincerely appreciate this blog's presence for making me feel sane about the case.

God, I know. I'm with you. It's not parasocial of us to be relieved or happy to see a woman who has been through so much see that she is still loved by some. I'm so glad she got those flowers and that she knows she's not alone.
