Sex is consensual, coercion -even if it includes money transactions- into it is not consent, you are not defending a "women will have sex w/ shitty men anyways so why don't we let them take the money" point of view, you are, I hope unintentionally, defending that "woman will be raped by men anyways so why don't we let them take the money ".
First putting on a man's mind the idea that they can get women by paying for them, in a world where we all NEED money to stay alive, where poor women are the most oppressed group of people (and not surprisingly the most trafficked too) it's to put the idea in men's mind that some ways of coercion into "sex" is allowed (because legally that's the result), you are putting on men's mind the idea that some rape is ok, when is not, and never will.
Secondly, rape culture needs to be ended, not sugarcoated into leaving men without guilt.
Also it's not about denying the right to live their sexuality to women, it's about stopping men from thinking that with certain amount of money, or power, or influence some crimes are ok.
If you’re against sex work then you should feel just as strongly about abolishing the institution of marriage! Fight me!
