God it makes me so fucking mad when things that I stand for and things that I believe in like LGBTQ rights or black lives matter or abortion even are labeled as politics or a liberal pov because NO it’s literally just human rights, like if I say “black people should not be viewed as threats just because of their skin color” and you say “i don’t want to talk about politics” just like ??? Did I mention politics?? 

If you get offended when I don’t want to listen to your point of view, it’s because your point of view is invaliding someone’s existence. If you’ve been told again and again that your views are derogatory and hurtful, maybe instead of complaining, you should rethink your viewpoint.  

I forgot that I post poems on here sometimes. I usually detest writing poems that rhyme because it’s hard to think of words that rhyme and I kinda just wanna describe an experience without… rhyming. but. Was feeling goofy

They called for help, just once or twice,

a passing thought, not said quite right.

No answer came, but that was fine

it never did, time after time.

So they shrugged and let it go,

picked up their things, went with the flow.

There was work to do, a list to keep,

and maybe later, they’d get some sleep.

I no longer listen to DC regarding my favourite heros. I’ve perfected each superhero family to my taste, made my own timeline with my wanted events. Given the characters my favourite backstory of them, given them their base of operation, their civilian job, even the pets they have. I’m now DC
