sometimes you can tell when somebody who likes a ship just likes one of the characters and is simply using the other half as a vaguely ooc vehicle to make content for their fave which is whatever. not against the law. until the other half theyre using as a vehicle is YOUR fave. and then you want to explode them with your mind

my durge has paws so most shoes are torture devices for her. she has one pair of boots made specifically for her (they're 10 years old already) that goes with everything. it's either them or she walks barefoot and complains the entire time (because she's the most sensitive flower in faerun)

additional point: I changed orin's character so much she's practically an oc now but she still refuses to wear any kind of shoes. you go girl don't let them tell you what to do!!

like imagine if the king of england died and you went online and people were talking about their favorite candidates for the throne and hoping the next king was a progressive one. and you bring up the fact that a king of england could hardly be progressive, considering what the institution of monarchy means and the history of england as a colonial empire, and people are like, but this one is nice on some issues. look at my favorite english nobles, they're so cute

i oppose all kings on account of monarchy being inherently wrong, no matter who the individual is. i oppose all popes on account of the whole system being wrong, no matter who the current one is. all popes will ultimately oppose abortion, divorce, contraception, gay rights and so on, so i cant be enthusiastic even if they use their influence for good on some other topics. they don't want me to have basic rights, i can't respect that
