a thing I've learned about interacting with fanfiction.
fanfiction is free. I cannot pay the author even if I want to, but I can leave a comment telling them how much I appreciate their work 🫶
idk why comment on fics like so many times i see fics full of comment and not a one reply from the author like at this point is better just to gush about in discord after all nobody is answering the comments
no author is needs to respond to comments when theyre providing you free work. if you want that work to continue, leave comments. if you arent going to leave comments don't be surprised when your favorite creators stop posting.
regulus would be the most insufferable person to do arts and crafts with. like its valentines day and the group gathers to make cards and have some fun, meanwhile regulus' running that shit like the navy asking you how hard can it be to draw a fucking heart?? have you ever even used scissors in your life?? just fold it in half and cut it!! ugh this is too much glitter!! what are you? savages?? guys what is this?? am i the only one who had four hours of calligraphy lessons everyday for six years? (he was). at some point he just says pass me the damn hot glue gun and makes all of their cards
safe to say they never did arts and crafts together again
What she says: I'm fine
What she means: I've been screaming endlessly inside of my head for the past week. I haven't had a decent night sleep in longer than I can remember and I've lost track of how many days I've been laying in bed staring at a wall.

from the bottom of my heart: just because something makes you uncomfortable doesn't mean it shouldn't be allowed to exist
this was nice to hear
Burt Shavitz, the bearded man whose face and spirit created the beloved brand Burt’s Bees, died on Sunday at 80. Shavitz passed away in his rural home in Maine, surrounded by family and friends. Shavitz was never one to embrace a crowd. In fact, his life story is as true to the Burt’s Bees images as you can get: unpretentious, wholly original and all natural.
writing is so fun
not enough women stabbing each other to symbolize sex in the media actually
Me at age 13, exhausted at school after staying up all night to read fanfic: I can’t wait until I’m an adult and I can stay up reading without any consequences!
Me, an adult, exhausted at work after staying up all night reading fanfic: Fuck.
