blue like "get brown contacts. NOW" blue. and Astarion refused to get brown contacts. so the universe turned him into a vampire

I dont have the patience to do a good drawing of it rn but. Ryley Robinson. with a mullet.

like he doesn't bother cutting his hair once he gets stuck on 4546B so it just grows out and he ends up with a mullet and the roots of the streaks he has dyed grow out and start to look weird and he starts wearing his hair up in like a manbun or just a high ponytail.

Edit: this is mostly to placate myself but i do actually have a shitty little doodle from today

I had a dream like a month ago where a super skinny, black figure with four eyes that was taller than my doorway was standing slightly hunched over in front of said doorway. In response, dream me asked him if he wanted to sleep in my bed. He then came to my bed, climbed the ladder... and proceeded to cuddle me. So I guess it works sometimes?

question: what happens when monsterfuckers try to seduce their sleep paralysis demon? does that ever work out for yall?

thinking about the biological implications of someone (Ryley Robinson) getting stuck on an alien planet (4546B) with purely silicon-based lifeforms (headcanon).

like would he just starve??? Because if everything is composed of silicon there's no real use for carbon sugars and I dont think people can digest silicon last I checked

the main idea is that this could lead to some absolutely fucked-up prompts like Ryley slowly starving to death even though he feels full because his body is physically incapable of processing whatever fucked up molecules the plants/animals/other on 4546B use in place of carbon sugars. And he keeps misdiagnosing what's wrong with him as maybe it's part of the kharaa but then he gets to the floating island and gets potatoes and melons and lantern fruit and he either thinks he got over the kharaa or puts two and two together and realizes he was dying from starvation and/or malnutrition

i want a vr headset for one reason and one reason alone.

just rewatched The Martian (2015) and that shit was as good as I remember it and since I need to tie everything into my hyperfixations I think Mark Watney and Ryley Robinson have the same/similar personality and Ryley definitely thinks "hey its kinda like that movie" at least once

3/23/25 Update: 1 1/2 pages into the book and yeah. Yeah they totally have the same personality. Unintentionally wrote Ryley like Mark Watney in my fic. It's great.

does anyone else ever think about how the way new languages developed from one another was people spelling/pronouncing things differently enough over a period of time that it was completely distinct from another language. Like we have so many languages because people made spelling errors and ran with it
