Steve has a nightlight and a teddy bear, so he's not afraid in the darkđ also Tony calls him "young man" like the total dad he is
Natasha got her Black Widow top and her Black Widow laptop and a big box of chicken. She also wears glasses, and painted her nails black
Steve has mitts made by a couple elderly women who wouldn't take no for an answer
Bruce snores unbelievably loudly and has Hulk slippers
Steve drinks hot tea and looks at an old picture of him and the Howlies around their makeshift Christmas tree
Tony uses his Iron Man helmet to put ice in to cool his drink
Captain Handsome ordering you to rock and roll on that 45

I recently found out the origin of "O Captain My Captain", and it fits Steve so well it's like it was written for him.
O Captain! My Captain! is an extended metaphor poem written by Walt Whitman in 1865 about the death of Abraham Lincoln. The poem is about a captain of a ship who falls dead just as their journey ends and they approach land, a reference to how Lincoln died just as the Civil War was ending.
The amazing thing to me is how this is a perfect reference to Steve as well. Steve dies just as the war is ending, not knowing whether they won or not. He was an important part of the journey, but sadly not a witness of the end.
~
O Captain! My Captain! our fearful trip is done;
The ship has weather'd every rack, the prize we sought is won;
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring:
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.
Finally someone said that!
Marvel fans putting aside their differences as we realize we were all played by the MCU and deserved better
today it doesnât matter if you were team cap or team iron man, if you ship stucky or stony or neither or both. we were all played like boo boo the fool and we all deserved better.
Awwwwww â¤â¤â¤

This is important, so I need to reblog this <3
that since that whole âno porn no moreâ rule of tumblr has been installed, it became very hard to find fics. Before when I used to type in âbucky x readerâ I got a ton of fics, old and new. But now itâs just a dozen of posts, and I canât find any of my faves. Luckily, I have bookmarked a lot of my favourite MCU reader insert fics.Â
Also, my own fics who I moved to this new blog had hundreds of notes in days - and now they have less than ten each. I assume because they donât have the same visibility because they have bad words that tumblr no likey.
so hereâs a list of authors (fics in next post) . Letâs spread these lists and reblog each otherâs fics, because if Tumblr wonât let us find porn to read - weâll find it for each other.

Everyone who is reading this: Iâm so glad youâre alive. Iâm so proud of you. You are loved. Iâm here. Donât give up, weâre almost there.
Pass it on.
Uhm, hello! I just found out a few gifs with heroines eating spme real food:
These are both from Marvel series: Agent Carter.
The woman eating is Peggy Carter, main character of whole series (and my secret crush btw)
I guess the thing sheâs eating is something like muffin or like that, and oops, I think I just remembered that you said it canât be nothing sweet (if Iâm right)!
Altought I want to send them to you, because Peggy isnât only eating while talking in this scene (which is very unprofessional and bold and I love it), but she also has a cream on her face. And think that itâs important, âcause we donât have much chances see female protagonists like this; messy, hungry and/or bold, while also enjoying the food and being happy from that they are eating.
I have one more:
Wanda Maximoff from show WandaVision eating cereals and milk
She is messy, she just woke up and is obvious that she just wants some food and peace - also her hair is disheveled and the clothes are meant just for a lazy day at home, she is chaotic. Soemthinâ you donât see much in movies or shows, too.
Just my own little  deliberation on the end, you doesnât have to read it:
eating is actually a bit of an intimate thing - the heroines show us their true selves, let the mask of an "invincible warrior" fall for a moment and they just exist.
They enjoy things(food). And that's why I don't think it's shown very often how heroines (or women in movies in general) eat, because it's a demonstration of how they really are like women - imperfect, unmodified, and happy to be like that. happy to be bold, they are enjoying the food, they know that itâs good to enjoy it when you eat, and they arenât scared to be seen like this - not some 24/7 sexy goddess who is always at every point in life perfect, but a normal person who needs to eat. Which is, in some perspective very powerful, because itâs women who actually own their bodies; they know their bodies and they arenât scared to get what they want/need.
(feminist sense just kicked iin, prepare yourselfs);
And i think that men (who are mostly making these movies) just doenât like women to be seen like this (you know, how they really are). because what if women started actually love themselves? What if they stopped to strave themselfs to death because of the standard of beauty the patriarchy society told them they must be like? What if they strted to be bolder and bolder? What if they actually started love food?!
*the patriarchy society yells and explodes*
They are scared to see us, women, how we really are. It scares them. So they told to us that itâs bad if girls like food. But why should we listen to them?
Itâs July 2021.
The MCU has been churning out movies for 13 years at this point. Black Widow finally got her first solo movie (er, despite technically being dead but letâs not get into thatâŚ) and I watched the movie eager to see if Natasha would finally be shown to EAT something substantial, and with joy.
The depression sandwich (with out of date peanut butter) delicately nibbled on while crying does NOT count.
Minor spoiler, Natasha does not eat much in the entire movie.
I counted: a delicate spoon of a confectionery (ice cream? Yoghurt? Either way itâs insubstantial food) where the spoon is more visible than whatâs on the spoon, and only a delicate lick happens.
And, she chews gum.
THATâS IT.
Oh, side note, Yelena helps herself to one of Natashaâs 5 years out of date bar (candy? Protein? We will never know), unwraps it to take a bite yet it is obscured by her hands, and as she chews she is definitely not enjoying it.
I have to say, Iâm disappointed.
Disappointed, but not surprised. Because the script isnât written by women, itâs written by men. In fact nearly all the comic book movies are written by men, and directed by men.
Women never eat onscreen.
Let me be more specific: the women protagonists in superhero movies never eat substantial food joyfully.
Iâve already said that depression sandwich doesnât count.
Neither does the Shawarma scene in Avengers Assemble, because we never see the food enter Natashaâs mouth, and the mood isnât what Iâd call joyful (but if it had visibly been a good bite I would have allowed it).
By all means go watch the clip and see for yourself, we get the usual trick of jaw movement to pretend the actor is eating, then at the very last moment Natasha does LIFT a piece of food⌠only for the scene to cut out before it reaches her mouth.
Meanwhile three separate men at the table have no problem shoving food into their mouths.
Tony Stark has eaten a fair amount over the course of the MCUâŚ
Sure, you could argue that Tonyâs hamburgers and donuts are on the same level as Natashaâs depression sandwich. Heroes only eat when theyâre depressed? Great job, Disney.
But thereâs still the sexism of how the food is eaten. In that itâs acceptable to watch a man shove food in his mouth, but not acceptable to watch a woman doing it.
Which is likely why the latter is rarely shown across all of Marvel/Disney, or DC/WB.
Wonder Woman licked an ice cream once? (Doesnât count. Dainty licks of a confectionery is not substantial food.)
Gamora sexily licked a piece of fruit once?
Iâve watched this scene again and again, and Iâve discounted it for multiple reasons. Gamora is pretending to appear at ease, by licking a small piece of fruit and being performative about it.
One could argue she isnât really eating at all, just licking, to distract Peter before she steals from him.
Also, she obscures her mouth so we the audience see nothing go in.
This is all really sad, if Iâm going to be honest.
And itâs not like women canât eat onscreen in Hollywood, period. Keira Knightley ate in Pirates of the Caribbean. Darryl Hannah ate a specially made vegetarian âlobsterâ for Disneyâs Touchstone pictures.
So why arenât women superheros eating anything decent?
The only women in comic book movies taking a proper BITE of food or eating substantial food joyfully, are the villains/antagonists.
Nebula and the itâs not ripe gag in Guardians volume 2.
Does it even count if she spits out the food right after the bite? Sigh.
Next, Amanda Waller eating a fine steak in Suicide Squad (2016).
Arguably, showing Amanda cutting up and eating meat is purposeful because in the scene sheâs also discussing her new team of disposable soldiers.
Itâs symbolic to show her devour meat, and Amanda is the antagonist of the movie not the protagonist.
This leads me onto the only woman protagonist in a comic book movie (that some would still call the villain/antagonist) to have broken the glass ceiling of eating food onscreen.
Harley Quinn.
We all remember how enamoured the character was to have her breakfast in Birds of Prey (2020). In fact, âHarley x Egg sandwichâ was practically a ship.
Is this surprising, given that the movie Birds of Prey is unique in having women in creative control from script, to director, to producer?
That has to be the difference.
Harleyâs relationship to food seems natural in the movie, and she is shown to eat more than once, and talks about food multiple times.
The scene at the end where Harley finally gets to eat her egg sandwich is clearly a joyful moment.
And so rare to watch in this genre.
Look at that decent bite actress Margot Robbie takes, and ask yourself when did you last see any woman in a superhero movie enjoy food like this?
This may seem insignificant to some, but itâs become something that really irks me.
I was disappointed that Black Widow never got to eat anything except a sad flat expired sandwich in her MCU career.
Meanwhile, back with Harley Quinn again, sheâs taking a good bite of apple in the trailer for The Suicide Squad (2021).
She also talks about âgoing number twoâ, and it seems that only antagonists or villains in these movies are permitted to speak about bodily needs or functions (we all remember Iron Man peeing in his suit, and even actor Robert Downey Junior described the character as âhis own antagonistâ), while the women protagonists get to⌠chew gum or delicately lick confectionery.
Sigh.
Itâs unsatisfying.
(If anyone has photo evidence of a woman character shown to be eating in ANY comic book live action, the TV shows too, Iâd love to see it. Food MUST go into the actorâs mouth to count! No more delicate licks or delicate sips from a straw.)
OFC I LOVE HIM are u crazy how could I not:?!
sam wilson deserves better
*learns about viking culture and gods* this is for you Chris Hemsworth
*listens to beautiful 80s music* this is for you Star-lordÂ
OMG this is sooooooo impressive - personally I was always curious why arenât girls eating on the screen, when boys do like allthe time. Thank you for noticing this problem!
Also, when I tried to find some gif where is actually a superhero girl eating substantial food, I found just one (!!!) animated gif. Thatâs really alarming!!!
Itâs wonder woman from DC, and I think itâs really cute

The only flaw in Steve and Buckyâs love story is thatâŚumâŚis thatâŚIâŚ
Thereâs no flaws.
OMG your schools really donât teach u that?! Imean... those are the things I knew when I was like 12. Not cus Iâm smart (actually Iâm dumb as an oak) but those are really things that everyone should know from school.
Never forget to remind high schoolers who have shit to say about LGBTQ+ and how it conflicts with biology that their public education system is manipulated by govt standards and if they had the chance to take college biology/sociology/history classes they would learn that sex and gender are not the same thing!!!
While on that, they would also learn (presented by a college sophomore):
â˘America has done some rly shitty things to other countries.
â˘Black history is way more extensive than they were previously taught.
â˘For that matter, all POC history is way more extensive than they were previously taught.
â˘Many historical figures were gay/bisexual. Those sexualities were not invented in the 80s.
â˘There are also historical figures who were probably trans or preferred to present as another gender.
â˘Abortion is not literally stabbing a full grown baby. Itâs almost always taking a pill that forces a VERY early miscarriage.
â˘Gender roles and racial stereotypes are social constructs. Biology does not determines certain genders or races do certain things.
â˘80% of genetic variation occurs within oneâs own race. You likely have more in common genetically with someone of a different race than someone of your own.
â˘The War on Drugs was literally created to target black people. Yes, the government has done many racist things.
â˘Not all weight gained is unhealthy. It often depends on where itâs gained (so yeah, if you have fat thighs youâre probably still healthy).
â˘Literature being taught to you is not specifically selected to be queer or feminist. Lots of famous literature just happens to be that way.
â˘Native Americans had entire cities built before white men came. They were not basically woods-people.
â˘Islam says nothing about terrorism in any scripture. âJihadâ means conversion, but peacefully.
â˘Not every Islamic country is oppressive towards women. Many are very lenient.
â˘Christianity and Islam have so many similarities that their extremists have about the same values.
â˘Anti-Semitism is a thing that goes back centuries, and did not start with Nazi Germany.
â˘The singular âtheyâ was actually accepted in Medieval times. People didnât try to make it solely plural until the 19th century.
â˘AAVE is a legitimate dialect and formed while American English was still evolving, so no, itâs not just âbad English.â
â˘White peopleâs ancestors, who were primarily Norsemen, did not first discover Christianity. They were pagans who learned Christianity from the Romans.
â˘The Romans had nothing against homosexuality and had a few emperors who fell in love with men (see: Hadrian).
â˘Eastern religions, though very different from Abrahamic, still have more in common with Abrahamic beliefs than youâd think.
â˘And finally: college does not indoctrinate you. They are free from the bounds of education put by the government and are allowed to explore more histories. If youâre truly as anti-govt as you say you are, accept college education!!!!
You know that thing when you did something bad and your parents just go:Â âimma gonna take you phone away.â
Welp, Tony Stark tried it once too. Peter just got in a fight (details doesnât matter, the bad guy got kick in the ass and peter three bullets into his chest) and Tony just took his phone away.
10 minutes later Tony passes Peter again and Peter is holding in hand some new phone, even better than the one he got before, it has even a AI and a drink holder and everything, and Tony is just like;, Where did you got this? Peter, who gave it to you?!â And Peter just looks up and takes off his EDIT glasses like that (yk, just like Tony does) and is all like cool and w a special cool voice and he says;, nobody get me it. I built it.â
And Tony just doesnât know if he should be more proud or pissed off.
Iâm not actually asexual, but Iâm bisexual and I also hear a lot of hate, not only from the straights, but sometimes also from LGBT+, so I think I can understand some of these feelings.
Reblog for that and also cus I love asexuals, theyare precious and valid <3

alright, so... Right now Iâve just read a reportage about how some group of young people had beaten shit out of two gays that were just holding hands together.
For the first: We are living in a culture, that si more comfortable with two men holding guns than holding hands.
Second: This world is... We are more comfortable and better accepting men who are killing little children than men who love each other. That si NOT okay.
As a Bisexual teenage girl living in Czech republic, Iâm afraid. Iâm afraid for somebody to know that I belong into LGBT, and informations below are the reason why.
In our school, is absolutely alright when somebody is calling the other fa*got, sl*t or wh*re and everybody thinks itâs alright. Iâm afraid, not so much from students (I can actually defend - Iâm strong), but of the teachers. hey, u stand? Iâm afraid of the teachers to know that Iâm into guys and girls! teachers! T-E-A-CH-E-R-S!!!
That is not alright at all!
and Finally: Homophobia is a problem, and itâs a problem that whole society has. We need to stop it! More education, more discusions, more acceptable people in this world! Yes, we still have these primitive problems, but that doesnât mean that it canât be better!
Oh, yes, also, here are the links to the reportage (itâs not in english, so uâll propably must use translator): https://www.novinky.cz/domaci/clanek/zbili-nas-protoze-jsme-se-drzeli-za-ruce-tvrdi-sefredaktor-gay-magazinu-o-rvacce-na-naplavce-40361767#seq_no=2&source=hp&dop_id=40361767&dop_ab_variant=569200&dop_req_id=kiaeUzxLekA-202105301514&dop_source_zone_name=novinky.sznhp.box&utm_campaign=&utm_medium=z-boxiku&utm_source=www.seznam.cz
[ random MARVEL gif ]
[question]
[answer]
OMG okay, but MARVEL could have so much money if they only realized they have female characters
Hello, just your daily reminder that Steve and Bucky are gay and in love
Bucky and Steve both know a lot about stylizing and brushing hair - Bucky âcause when his three little sisters needed help with hair, he was always the only one who had time to helpto them, and Steve because his hair was, before war, long and blonde cute waves. Anyway, they both know a lot about hairtyles and this stuff.
Who is, opposite of them, absolutely helpless with hair is Natasha. Her childhood was red room, she must learn somany things, like fighting styles, languages, shooting, hacking, psychology, etc etc... and she just never had time to just sit down and learn all these complicated hairstyles or anything else.
So, at any time when she needs help with her hair, she goes to Steve and Bucky. They both are her friends and are always absolutely prepared to help her. So, it will usually ended up as Natsha Romanoff, the deadliest Avengers ever, sitting on couch with JAmes Buchanan Barnes, the howling commando, the fist of HYDRA, deadliest assasin in USA history, brushing her hair and Steve Rogers, Captain America, Americaâs golden boy, the leader of the Avengers, putting sparkling rubber bands in them.
