Page one of a Pokemon Scarlet fancomic.
Panel One: Arven, as a child, holds a plate of sandwiches as he peers past a wall with a sad expression, saying, "Mama?"
Panel Two: Smiling, Arven says, "Mama, I made--" before he is cut off by Professor Sada, who says, "Not now, Arven." Her back is to Arven as she faces a chalkboard with chalk in hand.
Panel Three: Not looking at Arven, Professor Sada continues, saying, "Later, okay?"
Panel Four: Arven, disheartened, says, "...Oh--..."
Panel Five: By Arven's feet is a Maschiff, which he is petting with his free hand. Arven says, "Okay..." as a large red claw steps in.
Panel Six: Wide-eyed and shocked, Arven exclaims, "W-woah!!" As Koraidon approaches with a benign expression. Maschiff is similarly wide-eyed.

Panel One: Koraidon lowers its head onto the ground, its pupils dilated. Arven, confused, says, "H-huh!? What're you--?"
Panel Two: Koraidon, still looking up at Arven, refocuses its gaze onto Arven's plate of sandwiches. In realization, he says, "Oh."
Panel Three: Arven hands a sandwich to Koraidon, saying, "...Here." His hands are covered in bandages, and his elbows are wrapped in bandages, as well.
Panel Four: Now kneeling and smiling, Arven says, "Haha... If you two like them so much, I can make more!" as both Koraidon and Maschiff eat sandwiches.
Panel Five: A close-up of a happy Koraidon.
Panel Six: A transition to a close-up of a sad Koraidon.
Panel Seven: Koraidon looks towards a voice saying, "Why, that little..."
