It also depends on what I'm doing readings for. Basic 1 to 5 cards, I'm good. If it's emotional or a more complicated spread, I may not last the whole hour.
Hey guys, help me be reasonable about something
Run out of juice: can't make the connections any more, get magical fatigue, feel disconnected or turned off
Continuously: one reading after the other, or a very long spread, with short breaks or no breaks.

@be-not-afraid I hope you're having a good day, but I am curious on what you're referring too. I'm an inquisitive soul.
I miss the good old days of witchblr. Does anybody else remember like we could read whatever we wanted, and we could post about it? And sure, there were people that didn't care of the book or topic. The difference between then and now is that it was a discussion and not a beat down session. And then, people were kind enough to offer other book titles!
Also, we had a clear set of guidelines referring to cultural appropriation, and words or phrases that were frowned upon. Other then that, you want to be a Death Witch, go for it. A Sea Witch, have at it. A Storm Witch, power to ya. The lists goes on. Then, if we were curious about there practice we would ask genuine questions! If the practitioner maybe did something that maybe you didn't like or thought was borderline on the no no list, again you didn't beat them down, it was a discussion.
The ones that couldn't handle having a informal discussion were simply blocked and their comments were deleted. Or in some cases, the post was deleted, which was pretty common, and occasionally remade.
Also, side tangent, we liked the titles of the different witch types, because it was our niche and it was organized. Sure, you don't have to have a title or a certain practice, that's fine. As for me, I like having a title or a type because it keeps me focused on what I want to achieve. Plus, having a title made the witchblr tags so much easier to navigate.
(1) How long have you lived in Kansas (2) Do you like it there (3) What's your favorite thing about it, even if you don't like it? [Answers can all be mundane or magical :D]
1. I'm born and raised in Kansas. 2. Yes and no. 3. The things about Kansas I do like, depending on where you go, you still can enjoy the small town country vibes, and during the spring and summer Kansas can be quite beautiful.
So beautifully adorable!
Sekhmet, Sekhmet, Eye of Ra. Lady of the Red Lands. She both protector, fierce of claw, and a healer strong in heka. A large, complex name that almost has two faces to her own side of the coin. She is a Name that came to me often this year, and has brought her fierceness with her. While this piece may be a small tribute, it is no less of who she is.
She’s for sale on my etsy.

Oh, nah you're good. By all means we're not immune to drama and infighting every group online or offline has that, but why witch hunt each other, when states have begun to do that. I saw something on Insta this morning about it happening in South Carolina.

Good news, interview went well she was wanting to get me hired on. Bad news, the on boarding process did not like me, and we tried everything. She sent an email to HR to help us so I feel better..ish. I'm going to be a broody vampire, enjoy this cool misty weather, and crochet

My witch of a grandmother gave me her beautiful encyclopedia on healing plants to celebrate Ostara!
I told her about my blog and she asked me to share some of her advice “for those lovely internet disciples of yours”.
No, Yeyé, that’s not how this works…
But hey! When the crone talks, you listen!
“A jar of glass keeps away envious spirits and people who want to hurt you.”
“Everything dead deserves to be honored.”
“Strings of seeds bring prosperity.”
“A stone in the windowsill is a soldier that keeps away thieves, but make sure it’s not a pretty rock cause they might steal it!”
“When you trim a vine, keep some branches by the door so all the hard work you’ve done doesn’t disappear in a single day!”
“When you’re old and can’t move so much anymore, keep a jar of seeds by the Gods so they can pick their offerings as they please.”
“I keep lavender by the computer because it helps me remember how to open Facebook. Lavender is good for memory. Tell your friends of the internet.”
“I keep the obsidian and the agathe geodes in front of the TV so there will be no bad news.”
So there you have it.
Advice from an authentic crone with over 70 years of Craft , Old Yeyé.
She wishes you all many blessings and love and hopes you are all well guided.
Happy new season from lucky Old Yeyé!

I went on a walk today, I have been trying to go on daily walks, but I might have a skip day every now and then, but today I decided to take pictures of Lemon Park. So my area is thick with history of being you know...racist. A town called Kingman which is about 45 minutes away was KKK headquarters for this area. There are certain towns including Pratt definitely have creepy vibes, and we certainly have ghosts. Lemon Park is no exemption to creepy vibes. Stories go that the lynchings happened at the park as well cultist rituals. Everyone that talks about the park, it certainly begins to feel unwelcoming and after the sun goes down. It was also said to be common place for people to commit suicide, and I lived in town for 10 years now, there has been at least one of two that I know of. I think I'll find another place to walk.
