If people I see once a year are going out of the way to tell me how healthy I look when I’m at the lowest point of health in my life, and those comments disappear once I start actually recovering–that tells me we have to have a serious conversation about the way our culture criminalizes weight, and uses “health” as an excuse to do it. 

weight and health have exceptionally little to do with each other, stop fucking insisting they do.
