i know it’s supposed to be a serious moment and all but i am absolutely losing it at shadowmoth doing the Crazy Anime Face™️ again right after the reveal

Sometimes my favorite thing about the reveal is just the concept of marinette realizing that chat noir is really just Some Guy who is like. A fairly normal guy. Like the realization that being a cat boy isn’t his full time job and her being baffled by the fact is endlessly entertaining to me

Happy new year <3 what better to start my year than Adrien having a miserable time. I’ve been (obsessively) reading Open My Eyes by @buggachat because I can never have enough angst in my life and I needed to capture a little bit of the suffering

I think the development I’m happiest about in this ep is Luka actually using words to talk about his musical metaphors instead of just playing them. I usually just end up laughing at whatever comes out of his mouth cause he’s great at being accidentally funny; but this time he hit the nail right on the head!

Adrien and Marinette both being “melodies” that are suppressed in opposite ways (one being silenced by something/someone and the other being drowned out by too much noise) is the type of parallel goodness I watch this show for

this is a scene from one of my FAVORITE fics atm, the way i loved you written by my sister @sha-nwa. if you enjoy marichat/things that are good PLEASE get on this. it is ABSOLUTELY a must read i literally go insane every time i think about it !!!! abby is a master storyteller & just one of the best people to walk the earth.

Chat noir is an incredibly competent hero in his own right.

Ladybug is doing worlds better than the order of guardians

Alya is a great support and confidant for Marinette

Kagami is a good friend and is doing her best to help out Marinette with her feelings

Luka is a good brother to Juleka and he does a good job being a friend to Marinette and Adrien

Zoe is a phenomenal actor and she has a great bee costume

Nino deeply cares about his buddy adrien and his whole anger towards Chat noir was solely jealousy and worry

Marinette is immensely creative and she is incredibly good at planning

Marinette is allowed to get carried away with her emotions

Adrien is valid in feeling like he is replaceable

They are all kids and allowed to make mistakes and not see everyone's perspective
