the strange thing about Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is that it’s so weird to make fanfiction about it because of the dungeons. like that is the quintessential gameplay mechanic and a major part of the worldbuilding, and yet every pmd fic i’ve seen seems to be equally confused as to how to actually write the shapeshifting dungeons of doom and despair in words. it’s great. i love it. i love the different interpretations it’s such a fun time /gen

you know how to write a limerick?

i honestly think that they're sick

not even that hard

to write some cool bars

cant think of a rhyme, oh shit frick

but do you know how to write a sonnet?

what about iambic pentameter?

if you dont know, then you should get on it.

dont be such an absolute amateur.

too bad sonnets are just so fucking long

it is really such a pain in the ass

and too many things can go really wrong

to be honest i think i might just pass

four stanzas with each line having a rhyme

the last stanza is cut a little short.

it really just takes up all of my time

i think i will need some mental support.

but as long as i can spit some good bars

my poems can be as good as the stars

So, you know the common example of English being fricked is fish being spelled ghoti? Well yeah, that's a really bad example.

gh at the beginning is always pronounced with a hard g. (/ɡ/)

ti is never pronounced sh at the end. it's always before something.

(also ghoti gets the ih (/ɪ/) sound from the o in women? i don't think women has that sound though, but that's probably how I'm pronouncing it)

Physch is a better way to show that English spelling sucks. it's actually would be pronounced fish instead of goatee

anyway, here's a terrible way of spelling pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis:

pnoughmounoultramaichrouschaphichpsylichovalchainoughcoughgneaousis
