“homophobes and transphobes think lgbtq identities are exclusively about sex, so kinky or sexual lgbtq people shouldn’t be allowed to be visible because that reinforces that association in peoples’ minds” is no different from “lets shame feminine, flamboyant queens because they’re playing into harmful stereotypes”
I actually am really sick of the focus on trans people who don’t want to transition always being on trans men and tme nonbinary people because like you see all these people get accepted for not wanting to be masculine and not wanting to have deep voices and body hair but never any acceptance for trans women who don’t want to be feminine and have big chests and tuck and wear makeup and shave our faces and that seems kind of suspicious don’t you think. Almost like perceived masculinity is frowned upon in tme-dominated trans spaces. Almost like trans women can’t even exist and do nothing without people associating us with men and maleness
why, this must be the strangest dating sim i’ve ever played!
I don’t even know how to explain how much this post means to me I straight up cried laughing the first time I saw it and it still makes me laugh every time I see it. it’s been months
I’ve been wanting to share this comic ever since I noticed that after the first two weeks of protesting most of social media started “going back to normal” as if there aren’t still people walking out and protesting making sure this movement doesn’t go silent or looked over. I appreciate every single individual that is out in those protests helping and being vocal for this change. Also those continuing to spread word and help out through petitions and donations. I wish y’all to stay safe and well.
