Hide in a yukata πππππ
tons of backstage footage, interviews
Movie II is very focused on the Izora tours. Whole songs from various venues are shown. The last few in Budokan and Gumma are gorgeous, with very generous closeups of Acchan.

The last Zekkai is shown in its entirety.
In contrast to the previous footage, there seems to have been a very deliberate choice in using only the extreme long shot of the whole stage in one long take. The image is blurred and the saturation turned up, so that, while the very general postures and larger moments of the members can be seen, all finer details are lost. Except for Acchan being less active than usual, there's no obvious movement from his body at that distance to show any issue.
There are points where pitch is off.
When the song ends, it quickly fades to black, and there is simply the date, Acchan's name, and the word for eternal slumber.
The movie ends with select shots from Genshou, particularly of Acchan's silhouette, form in lights, and lighted space left open on stage.
Hide's song for the credits is lovely, and references Cosmos directly.
Happy Birthday Sakurai Atsushi!!!π―π―π―ππ―π―π―πββ¬οΈThe best (studio and live) vocalist ever!
The most beautiful man to have ever lived, both inside and out. Sweet, funny and absolutely gorgeous with the voice of an angel, what more could you ever want? Of course, he was also spicy as one could be on stage, and the only thing that I would ever change about him is the duration of his lifespan. He deserved to be with us longer, but I hope that wherever he is, he can be happy and at peace. Perfection does not exist, but nobody has ever reached as close to perfection as Sakurai Atsushi.
Today, he would have been 59, an age he should have reached as it is not even that old yet, but alas.
For him, I have flushed my entire sense of shame down the toilet. I sung Happy Birthday to his photo on my memorial. And, another thing I sang afterwards:
πΆYooouuu aaare, you are my sunshine my onlyyy. Yooouuu aaare, you are my sunshine so so sweet. Yooouuu aaare, you are my sunshine my onlyyy. Yooouuu aaare, kimi wa watashi no taiyooouuuπΆππ
That part of Kyouki has been stuck in my head, and it fits him perfectly. He is my sunshine, without him and BUCK-TICK I would have never had this much joy in music. They are everything to me.
Today I will wear a necklace with a round pendant containing an image of a cat on a crescent moon. The cat and moon both black as the sky is a cloudy gray. I have no BUCK-TICK merch to wear sadly, other than 2 beanies that are so tight they cause a headache. And... I refuse to wear the plush pins, I won't let anything happen to those. But this cat necklace is the best thing I own that reminds me of Atsushi.
Besides that, today I will listen to only songs that contain Atsushi's vocals and tonight I will watch a tour to celebrate that he has existed.
I'm sure he's out there somewhere running a cat cafe in heaven. Back with his own babies that he had lost in the past. Issay must be with him too, I'm sure of it.
some more shitty screenshots πππ
