Hello, my name is Haytham Awad, a communication engineer living in Gaza. Before the war, I had a life of stability and safety, working at a communication and internet company. However, since the aggression against Gaza began after October 7, our lives have been turned upside down. We have lost our jobs, our sources of income, and our sense of securityIn response to this crisis, a group of dedicated volunteers and I have come together to support the displaced people of Gaza. We have been tirelessly delivering food parcels and meals, providing clean drinking water, and distributing essential health packages. We supply vegetable baskets, offer primary care for children, and hold joyful sessions to bring a smile to their faces. Additionally, we distribute nappies and milk for babies, provide food to shelter centers, and install toilets too. Many have fled, their homes, with only the clothes on their backs, so we also provide clothing and, in special cases, cash assistance for those who have completely lost everything. We also focus on addressing the basic health needs of displaced women and children, but we cannot do this alone. We depend entirely on the generosity of donors like youYour contribution, no matter how small, is urgently needed and deeply appreciated. It will bring relief to those who have lost their homes and are struggling to meet their basic daily needs. i'm not sure how to put into words how much i love them. i thank them often for all the ways they've changed my life, the lives of my siblings, shared their kindness and light with us and made us feel whole, made us feel human. i thank them and i tell them i love them over text messages. and i tell them that one day, we will meet in person and i can hold their hands and look in their eyes and say "Thank you, my family. Farah received a severe head injury after her home was bombed by the occupation last year. It resulted in a fractured skull and brain bleeding, which left her disabled for several months. To continue the treatment of her wound, she needs to evacuate outside of Gaza. However, this is very expensive, and her family is large. They cannot work due to the invasion, and have no way of raising the funds to pay evacuation costs, or to support themselves until evacuation is possible.

Farah’s family has started a GFM campaign, but progress is very slow. Total donations up to now equal less than 1% of their goal, despite being open since April! They will not be able to evacuate, or to survive in the mean time, without your help.
