I just realized (almost) all my favorite animes can be summed up by “murder in various forms.”

Psycho-Pass - Murder is good if it’s free will and you don’t get caught. Unless you do get caught. Or you’re a cop. Then it’s bad.

Yuukoku no Moriarty - Murder the nobility that murders peasants. (Eat the rich.)

Shingeki no Kyojin - Titans kill people. People kill Titans. Titans kill Titans. People kill people. Titans are people? Huh. Everyone dies. The end.

Mo Dao Zu Shi - Murder is good unless it’s your sister’s husband or your sworn brother.

Tokyo Ghoul - I mean, have you SEEN it?

Kimetsu no Yaiba - Demons murdering humans is good. I mean bad. Depends on who you are.

Howl’s Moving Castle/Spirited Away - No Ghibli characters were harmed significantly in the making of this post.

Kuroshitsuji - Muuuuuuuurder? What murder? I didn’t see any murder hahahahahhaha- (please don’t kill me, Sebastian-)

Akudama Drive - Literally everyone’s killed someone in this town.

Tumblr’s kinda similar in a buncha ways (Tweet = Post, Retweet and Quote Tweet = Reblog), but here’s a short little summary of things that work differently and might help yall to know:

Optional: Go to your Settings, go to Dashboard, and remove “Best Things First”. This is a very recent attempt by Tumblr to include a form of “Likes” based algorythm. It’s somewhat primitive, and makes it very hard for most posts to get any visibility, so it’s highly recommended to just turn it off. If you do, all posts on your dash will be seen in chronological order instead.

Tags work in a similar way to Twitter, except you now add them at the very bottom of a post! They’re smaller and greyed out, so they’re much less intrusive, and you can add in up to 20 tags per post. The first 5 tags are the ones most likely to show up on searches, so keep that in mind when posting!

Tags are more than just a hashtag system! Because you can write spaces and full sentences in them, people will use them a lot to add uninntrusive comments on reblogs. See, direct comments on reblogs will stick under the original post for any chain of reblogs that originates from yours, and might detract from the original post. Only include comments there if there’s something you think is important to point out of discuss about the original post (and please try keep civil)

REBLOG!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, REBLOG! Tumblr doesn’t work like Twitter. There’s no algorythm here to spoonfeed you the most popular posts based on likes. Things on tumblr only move via two ways: By tags, and especially by reblogs. Always try to reblog posts you like, so they can actually be seen! Likes are nice but don’t actually do anything for visibility! (and no, “Best Things First” doesn’t help expand beyond the people and tags you are already following)

Curate your experience! Blocking is always an option, and because there’s so many possible tags that can be added on a post, it’s much easier to blacklist more specific tags for yourself (For example, blacklisting #gore or #eyestrain). DONT CENSOR WORDS IN TAGS! Stuff like “k!ll” and “s*icide mention” doesn’t screw with “The Algorythm”, because there is none! The only thing it does is make it impossible for people to avoid the tags they’ve blacklisted!

Posts can be as long as you want! Tumblr will automatically “hide” part of a post after a certain point under a “See More” button to prevent cluttering people’s dash (It might’ve even done it for this very post). Just by clicking on it, people will instantly be able to see the full unchanged post, which is very handy!

I literally love Dokja and Joonghyuk's ship dynamic. It's so funny. They're so whipped for each other and yet on the outside they're like blank faces, murderous looks, rude to each other, insults the other every two seconds -

Can y'all imagine a professor au where the entire student body is just convinced these two are bitter enemies, only to realize in the end that they've been married for 20 years?

They didn't take each other's last name. The confusion is understandable. And the students are in disbelief even after they realize, so it's like:

Student: Professor Kim, I thought you hated him?

Dokja, with an absolute straight face: oh I do, feel free to tell that sunfish bastard that I'm going to smother him in his sleep tonight for the insurance payoff

Another Student: Professor Yoo, what do you really think of Professor Kim?

Joonghyuk, squinting down at his marking that he's completing in the university cafe: he's a sewer rat and I haven't known a second of peace since I met him 23 years ago

Kim Dokja: [wandering past on his way to the counter, absently giving Joonghyuk a kiss on the back of the head without looking away from his phone]

Joonghyuk, blank faced: Disgusting

Dokja halfway across the room: [flips Joonghyuk off over his shoulder]

Did I ever tell yall about this yoohankim paramedic crack AU that I did? Its a crack au where hsy and yjh's first meeting with kdj is during an incident where kdj went into cardiac arrest and they both manage to resuscitate him, only to find out he had a DNR order form on him. Thus, an unconventional friendship was born!

Featuring:

Kim Dokja, a seemingly normal salary man who actually has a debilitating heart condition. His condition makes life extremely difficult to live with. As such, dude just wants to pass peacefully if his time (though expectedly) short does come. Although, luck doesn't seem to be on his side recently and the poor man never seems to know rest at all.

Advanced Care Paramedic Yoo Joonghyuk, a veteran who has a talent for 'reviving' patients from the brink of death. Being in the emergency healthcare profession for many years, this man has seen everything and done everything. Virtually nothing could faze this man. Under his care, you're sure to be given a detour to the afterlife. Some say this is due to his godly looks, some say its be of his adept skills and instincts. Who knows, though he has certainly adopted the moniker of 'God's Favourite'.

Emergency Medical Technician Han Sooyoung, fairly new as a paramedic (has about 2-3 years of experience so far) but shows great intuition and efficiency. Although gossip amongst the personnel say the only reason she chose to be a paramedic is to witness the drama that comes with the profession. Despite all that, her quick wit and predictive abilities makes her the perfect partner-in-crime to help aid in saving your buddies from the brink of death.
