i’m confused. Isn’t valentino italian?😭

random hc idea thing but yknow how Valentinos spanish accent kinda comes out when hes angry(to be fair hes angry most of the time) what if when Val is EXTREMELY pissed he just starts ranting aggressively in spanish and Vox and Vel have no idea what to do with him

then Vox pulls up google translate on his screen and Vel reads to him what val is shitting about

So recently I saw someone point out that the V literally means a type of polyamorous relationship so it wouldn’t really surprise me if the Vees were poly.

I think Vox is the one that connects the Vees by dating both Velvette and Valentino.

This makes the most sense to me because (we know Vox and Valentino have something going on and) while all three of the Vees are very close Velvette and Valentino don’t interact as much. Not to mention in Episode 2 Velvette seems to be quite annoyed with Valentino and giving a whole “babe come get your boyfriend” kinda vibe.

Edit: totally forgot but not to mention when alastor is talking about how powerless Vox would be without the Vees they both have a “that’s our helpless boyfriend” kinda smug look on their face

As much as the Vees are terrible I think this really fits and I hope it’s explored more in season 2

What happened to Valentino's other antenna?

Fucking Alastor happened to Valentino's other antenna.

I think that Vox and Alastor were fighting, Vox started losing but then in the Hollywood action sequence, Velvette and Valentino entered tha chat and saved his flat ass. Hence Alastor's dig:

Is Vox as strong as he purports?

Or is it based on his support?

He'd be powerless without the other Vees

Also Valentino said "He ows us more than just money." but we don't see anything that would indicate that he also has a complicated history with Alastor. So I think Alastor just kicked his ass in a fight and he doesn't have a lot hard feelings about it because it wasn't personal, it happened to him only because he was trying to protect Vox.

Since I'm already discussing it, I must add that I would love it if Season 2 dedicated some time to exploring the differences between Vox and Alastor in terms of their personal relationships. We've seen Alastor experiencing a meltdown over the idea of becoming attached. He believes he is stronger than Vox because Vox has to rely on others. However, thematically, "Hazbin Hotel" revolves largely around building a support system and helping each other. It would love if Alastor at some point came to the realization that having genuine friends gives Vox an advantage, prompting him to consider forming some honest connectors and becoming a little bit vulnerable.

It’s only been a few hours and I just noticed an adorable parallel between Poison and Loser Baby.

When Angel dances with Valentino he’s got him on the chain and is actively directing and restraining him. And in Loser Husk goes from gently guiding Angel to completely having his hands off him and dancing in time with him as an equal.

The double standard in the fandom with blaming all sorts of shit on All Might and praising Aizawa for being the «best teacher ever» never falls to astound me.

How is being super apathetic, using manipulation tactics and lies on students, and being generally very uninterested in them so much better than All Might?

He doesn’t want the kids in the war any more than Aizawa does, and still all I see is «Aizawa never wanted the kids to fight and now he’d watching them die waaah» and «All Might really sent these kids to war huh???» from the same people like what

All Might spends a lot of time on Izuku ofc, but how is that different than what Aizawa does for Shinsou?

All Might is great at cheering on all the kids. He took the time to really see and understand Bakugo.

He tries to be there for Shouto with the family issues.

Your little fanon version of secretly supersoft Aizawa isn’t real, and neither is All Might the Terrible.

They’re both flawed characters who’s doing their best, but one of them is a stereotypical hot tired man, so nobody bats an eye at him.

also, don’t get me fucking started on the fact that Aizawa never seemed to notice anything is off about Shouto.

People always includes it in fics, but he never ever mentions it.

As a teacher, it should be pretty obvious that something was wrong, and even if he obviously couldn’t take Shouto out of Endevours house, he could have done SOMETHING.

Talked to him. Anything.

And I know he is traumatized. I get it. But so is All Might. And Present Mic. And Midnight.

Everyone handles trauma differently, but if your refusal to deal with it affects your ability to be compassionate and ignore your own prejudice (like how he treated Izuku vs Shinsou based on his own experience when he had no idea how hard Izuku worked or what he had been trough) maybe you should’t be a teacher.

Again, the fact that he didn’t react to how Izuku clearly had very little control over his quirk and how he kept hurting himself???

I just think he is a very flawed character, and not half as great a teacher as the fandom wants him to be.

Why is nobody pointing out how Deku is AGAIN projecting the things he needs to do in others???

What I mean is, he is literally telling Shigaraki he is just hiding the bad stuff under a rug but he will take it, because he can't just pretend nothing can be done about the past of the way it affects him... honey look yourself in a mirror too! The trauma of being quirkless in a quirkish (?) world, being rejected by the ppl you care and admire, the bullying, all the anger he has deep inside, the hero complex and dependency on a quirk in order to have value on himself, trouble with his identity outside of potential All Might 2.0 yet having trust in the fact he will make it somehow, etc.

Idk if he's now dealing with it and we'll see it fully in the next chapters, but it is important to understand his whole issues and stuff while dealing with his nemesis -which could be great for the whole "two sides of the same coin" thing.

He tends to do this too, even back during the sport's festival with Shoto where yeah, he did help him and he was trying to do so, but it looks like that's the way he mainly has been using to deal with his own problems -by not talking about them, but helping others and giving them the advice and reassurance he also needs.

Im once again saying it, Shigaraki needs to have the love of his friends and feel it again, and Deku needs to also get it from the people he cares and loves -not just thru actions. He isn't that far gone as Tomura, ofc, but it never hurts to feel that, specially when you grew up lonely and isolated.

They would genuinely be a great soap opera...
