Unpopular Opinion: Sometimes... Fandom Isn't That Important. Sometimes Fandom Isn't "that Deep" To Someone.

unpopular opinion: sometimes... fandom isn't that important. sometimes fandom isn't "that deep" to someone. sometimes people don't interact within the fandom and like to watch from afar. sometimes people just want to look at cool art or read cool fanfics, and that's it.

let's normalize fandom being a hobby or an interest and not a lifestyle. normalize taking a step back, taking time off and disconnecting from fandom without feeling bad. it's okay and healthy to prioritize yourself over media instead of consuming it 24/7. it's okay to set boundaries and enjoy something the way you need.

When Agatha And Billy Find Tommy I Kinda Want Him To Remember Everything That Happened Inside Of The

When Agatha and Billy find Tommy I kinda want him to remember everything that happened inside of the hex. He would remember spending time with the Version of Billy in the hex and he’d remember Wanda and Vision as his parents, it would be so good.

Because then we’d have one twin who managed to save himself, but does not have any memories of being Billy nor of Wanda, Vision and Tommy. He can just sense Tommy being around and missing a part of him. Not having these memories Billy has canonically found a new family for himself (Agatha, Williams Parents, Eddie) and he doesn’t see Wanda and Vision as parental figures because he does not remember their love. He only knows what he was told about Wanda and that’s all been awful.

Meanwhile Tommy would only have that. Everything that’d have ever happened to him would be what happened in the hex so he would cling to it. He would beg Billy to remember as well and he would probably hate Agatha for what she did to his mom (at least at first) and not understand how Billy could see her as a mentor / aunt / parental figure.

My point being: Billy wouldn’t see Wanda and Vision as his parents and Tommy would. Thus: The Angst. The Conflict. Tommy trying to get Billy to remember just to realize that the Billy HE remembers ISNT THE CURRENT BILLY.

And BILLY having gone through ABSOLUTE HORRORS to get Tommy back only to be COMPARED to a version of himself that he doesn’t remember over and over AND OVER

OH GOD I COULD TALK ABOUT THIS HEADCANON ALL DAY SOMEONE HELP ME

Agatha All Along Episode 5 Theory: Why It’s Weird and Short

So Episode 5 was by far the shortest episode we’ve had so far for the series. It feels different from the other trials so far which causes it to feel…scrambled in a way. Now you could blame poor writing for the craziness of this episode (along with the abrupt ending), but I usually reserve that judgement for after a series ends.

Here’s what I think is going on. SPOILERS AHEAD!

Agatha’s trial being in this episode was a bit of a surprise, but let’s be real, the show is called Agatha All Along…do we really believe that our favorite dramatic sad backstory mommy issues-filled witch only gets ONE episode for her trial?

The Ouija board makes the objective for this task clear: Punish Agatha. A task that some of the coven clearly have no qualms carrying out. But let’s think about the sequence of events after that message is delivered.

The coven tries to tie up Agatha which fails after Agatha becomes possessed by her mother. Agatha’s mother says Agatha must be left behind which causes her to freak out. Alice tries to save Agatha which results in Agatha accidentally(?) killing her. Agatha is only stopped when Teen says her son’s name and the door to escape opens after Teen says Goodbye on the Ouija board.

Notice anything?

Agatha is never *technically* punished by her coven. Each trial so far involves a task that 1. is specific to one witch’s ability, 2. involves a clear objective that the coven eventually recognizes and reaches together, 3. ends with growth, both power and character wise, of the witch/coven. This episode feels off because the formula is off. And the formula is off because none of it’s real.

Episode 5 IS Agatha’s punishment. Every trial has stirred up unwanted tragic memories from the witch it’s related to. It is no coincidence that this episode hits every. single. one. of Agatha’s problems.

It starts with an Ouija Board - Agatha has killed a lot of people, not all of them on purpose. We already know Agatha loves to pretend to not feel anything, but now she is forced to directly interact with her victims.

Punish Agatha - The coven turns on Agatha surprisingly quick to carry out the trial and surround her while she is on the floor…just like her old coven betrayed her. She fears betrayal.

Evanora Harkness - Self-explanatory, she not only forcefully possesses Agatha (which could tie in to fear of lack of control thanks to Wanda), but tells her she was born evil, something that Agatha looks devastated to hear. Mommy issues galore.

“I’ll be good” - upon hearing that her coven may leave her behind, Agatha freaks out and begs for them to not leave her. Fear of abandonment.

Alice’s Death - Agatha seems horrified after killing Alice with her powers (just like she killed her mother and coven in the past), and the rest of the present coven, especially Teen, are horrified by her actions and don’t believe her.

Nicholas Scratch - A devastating name to hear. And his voice calling to her is just the cherry on top.

And after she leaves the trial? Teen turns on her using magic similar to Wanda’s and then throws Agatha off the path to kill her. And Rio is suddenly nowhere to be seen? Another tumblr user made an interesting point that the aspect ratio doesn’t return to normal like it usually does after a trial. Because all of this has been the precursor to Agatha’s actual trial.

This may be all in her mind and it’s up to her coven to help her, guess we won’t know for sure until next week.

Lorna Wu took a song that was created between mother and child, added her own message, turned it into a protection spell and sang it with millions to have it take effect and made sure it turned onto a hit classic so that people will listen and sing it for decades, all to continuously protect her daughter after she herself would die of the curse that took her mother and is fated to take her and her daughter AND IT WORKED. She thought she couldn't protect her daughter, couldn't break the spell but she did protect her daughter; in the most beautiful way too. Millions were singing about her love for her daughter and those millions were constantly protecting Alice for years. I'm actually feral this show is so insane. There's so much love in this show (and so much tragedy) I could talk about each character and everything else forever

Positivityforlesbians here to give you some good news and positive vibes, so here’s the thing : girl in red’s album is finally out today on April 30th ! Go listen to it ! It’s called “if i could make it go quiet” ! That’s exciting in itself and I could stop this post here isn’t it ?! But no ! I’m making this post because guess who rarely ever post anything else than promo nowadays yet posted about girl in red’s album ? Taylor Swift ! Here’s a screen capture I took so you can see :

Positivityforlesbians Here To Give You Some Good News And Positive Vibes, So Here’s The Thing : Girl

So basically we can now officially say that Taylor listens to girl in red and honestly y’all, that’s another huge clue. To me that’s not even a clue but typical signalling but this time she did it in a more obvious way than she ever did ! Look she even chose the 13th second of the song (!! she is the main character, she controls her own narrative, she knows what she is doing) which corresponds to a lyric that begins at 0:11 sec and ends at 0:14 sec that is “we’re not going back” AHHHHHHH I swear this is so fucking gay and if y’all straighties aren’t even capable to see this huge clue when you know at this point that “do you listen to girl in red ?” is THE way/joke to ask if a woman is a lesbian or bi withut really asking her then you’ll never be convinced. Taylor is one of us and this Instagram Story is the ultimate proof, I’m so hyped, let’s all be hyped ! Look at how much she isn’t bothered by the Gaylor rumors, she’s entertaining it 100%, we’ve been saying it all along ! Homophobes go home ! 💖💖💖

Also I’m so happy for Marie’s music, she’s super talented and inspiring, imagine being a gay woman from Norway and having Taylor recognizing your work, promoting it this enthusiastically and saying she listens to the album on repeat ! Listen to girl in red, in case it wasn’t the case already ! And OMG Taylor ! <3 ✨

tw rape

I haven't seen anyone on here talk about it so I'm gonna. In her new documentary dancing with the devil, demi lovato opened up about how she was raped by a fellow disney actor she'd been seeing at 15, and when she spoke out nobody believed her and he was not pulled out of whatever movie he was in. She also said that the whole purity ring waiting until marriage disney crowd mindset made her blame herself and think it wasn't really rape. So I just wanna say, from the bottom of my heart, FUCK disney.

Marsha P. Johnson (August 24, 1945 – July 6, 1992) Was A Trans Activist, Sex Worker, Drag Queen, Performer

Marsha P. Johnson (August 24, 1945 – July 6, 1992) was a trans activist, sex worker, drag queen, performer and survivor. Marsha went by “Black Marsha” before settling on Marsha P. Johnson. The “P” stood for “Pay It No Mind,” which is what Marsha would say sarcastically in response to questions about her gender. In connection with sex work, Johnson claimed to have been arrested over 100 times, and was also shot once in the late-1970s. She was a prominent figure in the Stonewall uprising of 1969 and was one of the first drag queens to go to the Stonewall Inn after they began allowing women and drag queens inside. It was previously a bar for only gay men.

Following the Stonewall uprising, Johnson joined the Gay Liberation Front and participated in the first Christopher Street Liberation Pride rally on the first anniversary of the Stonewall rebellion in June 1970. One of Johnson’s most notable direct actions occurred in August 1970, staging a sit-in protest at Weinstein Hall at New York University alongside fellow GLF members after administrators canceled a dance when they found out was sponsored by gay organizations.

Shortly after that, along with Sylvia Rivera, she established the Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries (STAR) in 1970 which was a group committed to supporting transgender youth experiencing homelessness in New York City. The two of them became a visible presence at gay liberation marches and other radical political actions. In 1973, Johnson and Rivera were banned from participating in the gay pride parade by the gay and lesbian committee who were administering the event stating they “weren’t gonna allow drag queens” at their marches claiming they were “giving them a bad name”. Their response was to march defiantly ahead of the parade. During a gay rights rally at New York City Hall in the early ‘70s, a reporter asked Johnson why the group was demonstrating, Johnson shouted into the microphone, “Darling, I want my gay rights now!”

In 1974, Marsha was photographed by Andy Warhol in a series called ‘Ladies and Gentleman’ where Andy took Polaroid photos of drag queens (photos above).

Susan Stryker, an associate professor of gender and women’s studies at the University of Arizona said, “Marsha P. Johnson could be perceived as the most marginalized of people – black, queer, gender-nonconforming, poor.” Still, Stryker noted, “You might expect a person in such a position to be fragile, brutalized, beaten down. Instead, Marsha had this joie de vivre, a capacity to find joy in a world of suffering. She channeled it into political action, and did it with a kind of fierceness, grace, and whimsy, with a loopy, absurdist reaction to it all.”

Marsha’s advocacy and contributions to the LGBTQ+ community are an important part of our history and should be celebrated. Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, both key figures in the gay liberation movement, will be honored with a permanent installation in Greenwich Village which should be completed by 2021.
