How You Met

-It was an average day, nothing was really going on in your life on this day in particular...

-The only interesting thing you'd done was go over to 707's house.

-You'd been laying on one of his couches for the past two hours staring at your phone waiting for the other members of the RFA to join.

-when suddenly....

-The door clicked open...

-You immediately got up, grabbed a gun that 707 had under his coffee table and ran towards the room where seven was.

-"SEVEN!!! SOMEONE JUST GOT PAST YOUR SECURITY SYSTEM!" you yelled at the redhead hacker.

-"Relax MC, it's just my maid."

-"You have a maid??? You never bothered to tell me that."

-"sorry..."

-You sighed, that man was going to be the death of you..

-After a few minutes of just staring blankly at your friend, you left his office to greet the maid.

-That was when you saw them...

-a tall brunette man or woman..... (you weren't sure yet) facing away from you, taking off their shoes.

-"hello?" you squeaked nervously

-"Huh? Oh hello."

-Now you were pretty sure he was a male... from his voice..... But seven told you that he had a maid and this guy was clearly not a maid.

-"who are you?" you asked gripping the gun you'd grabbed earlier tighter behind your back.

-"My name is Vanderwood, I'm that idiot's supervisor... for work."

-he finally turned around to face you....

-You gasped... Damn he was gorgeous!!

-"Is there something on my face?" he asked, smirking.

-He knew... no doubt about it.... he knew that you found him attractive.

-"n...no..." you squeaked.

-"Do you by any chance know if Luciel completed his work?"

-"I don't know, He doesn't like it when I talk to him about his job... sorry"

-"Aw that's okay, I'll go check on him... I usually make dinner for him too... want to help?"

-And that was where it all began...

-In conclusion… Just let this guy sleep. He needs it!

-It was like a horror scene…

-Blood EVERYWHERE. 

-But mostly in the tub and on the floor.

-Vanderwood was mortified

-How could that much blood come out of a person? 

-He looked around the house for you. 

-He called out your name. 

-He had finally found you in the living room. 

-You looked to be okay. 

-”MC Are you alright? There’s a ton of blood in the bathroom and it’s not mine.” He asked

-You laughed

-”Oh  don’t worry, I just cut myself while shaving. I must have forgotten to clean up… My bad” 

-He breathed a sigh of relief. You weren’t hurt.

-But you did leave a mess…

-A big mess… 

-He still didn’t understand how you could have bled so much… But he didn’t question it.

-”You better clean it up” He growled.

-You gulped.

-”Y…Yes sir” You said before  racing to the bathroom to clean it all up.

-Jumin had left the house effectively leaving you to babysit Elizabeth 3rd

-You weren’t too happy about that.  

-You were fed up. 

-This was the 10th time he had dumped Elizabeth on you. 

-You decided to put an end to it.

-You grabbed Elizabeth, put her in a carrying case and brought her to a pet shelter.

-You knew Jumin would be Angry, But you didn’t care.

-When he finally came home, he called out for Elizabeth before even acknowledging you. 

-That made you even more enraged. 

-”Where is Elizabeth?” he asked, concerned. 

-”I got rid or her” You said before showing him some papers from the shelter. 

-”YOU GAVE HER TO A SHELTER?” He practically screamed. 

-You nodded. 

-His face got extremely red. 

-His breathing got faster. 

-He slapped you across the face before walking away, heading to the shelter that you had taken Elizabeth to.

-After a long hour of signing papers and all that, he got Elizabeth back. 

-A few days after the situation, you both made up. 

-He apologized for getting angry and hitting you, you apologized for taking his cat to a shelter. 

Vanderwood

-Vanderwood had come home from another dangerous mission. 

-Despite you begging him to stop going on said missions, he would always go on them.

-You were done worrying about him, you were done worrying that he may never come home. 

-You had decided to tell him how you felt. 

-”Vanderwood, we need to talk.” you said. 

-”Yes, what is it?” He replied sitting next to you. 

-”Please stop going on missions.” You looked down at your hands before continuing. “I just get so worried about you. What if you were to die or something?” 

-He stared at you blankly. 

-”You really think so little of me that you actually think I’d get myself killed?” He snapped. 

-You had pissed him off.. 

-This was always a touchy subject for him. 

-”Vanderwood, I know you can handle yourself, but I still worry” 

-His eyes narrowed. 

-”You think I’m weak don’t you?” He spit. 

-”No I-” He interrupted you

-”You’re grossly underestimating me, bitch” 

-You were shocked. 

-He had never called you that before.

-”Vanderwood, please” 

-”SHUT UP” He yelled before slapping you across the face. 

-He immediately regretted it.. 

-”Oh..My... God... Baby girl, I’m so sorry.” He panicked holding your face, making sure you weren’t injured.

-”I’m fine, don’t worry.”

-You were still very concerned about the dangers of his job, and after a long discussion, he finally agreed to take less risky missions.

I posted the sketch yesterday, I finished in the same day, took me like 4 hours.. which is about average for my art...

And well.. it didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted and there are some things I wish I did differently (namely the eyes being just a bit too harsh.. wish I did them in brown and not the dark purple..) but overall, I like how it turned out..

I tried a new painting technique the wet on wet method.. well in the beginning.. and I quite like it. I used both gouache and watercolors...I will 100% be doing rim lighting again.. it gives an ethereal quality and I looove that tbh..

And ofc being an overexcited dumbass forgot to tape down my piece initially so it warped.. but I taped it down shortly after and it's less um.. crazy looking now..

And idk why... but painting his ass was the funnest part lol.... I used many different colours in his skintone.. mainly purples, oranges, browns, yellows and hints of blue.. And it really stands out on that one cheek closest to the viewer.. I may have accidentally made it the focal point... unintentional, I swear,😅

Admittedly my shading is still absolutely shit.. making a note to practice that.. the light source and shadow placement doesn't make a whole lot of sense.. but it still looks alright I think..

Long ass spiritual ramble under the cut

I've been occupied with other things recently (namely getting a job for the first time) and I haven't had much mental energy to interact with him... so as reconciliation (ofc he demands that I don't need to apologize or anything but I did anyway) I made a new picture to go on his altar...

I also bought a statue (it was almost $150... RIP to my wallet 😭😭😭😭) it looks absolutely beautiful from the product pictures and it's handmade, reviews are good too, so I'm not too mad at the price.. it was the only one I could find that looked similar to how he usually appears to me... funny enough as I was browsing etsy looking for statues while I was taking a break from sketching, I said to him out loud... "damn.. it's all viking dudes with beards... none of these look enough like a twink"... and what do you know, the very next page, I found one that looks a hell of a lot more twink-like.. he even holds a rose which has special meaning to my spiritual journey with him. (First sign I asked him to show me and is my go to for signs now, I laid a bunch of fake roses on his altar too) I genuinely believe he put that one in front of me 😅
