The implications of Ryu dating Bart re: his relationship with Clank is so funny because like yeah Bart and Clank don't refer to each other as father and son but they do have that kinda bond 😭 So if Ryu dates Clank's not-really-dad-but-kinda-yeah it's like. Ryu. Ryu. Are you dating my not-dad. Ryu. I'm not calling you dad either Ryu you're not my real father (Ryu sputtering that he's too young to be a dilf despite being 173 years old)

It's been too long I haven't heard about Bart/Ryu that whenever I heard it, my head slighty peak out like the bonjour meme with the polar bear's head peeking out of the hole.

When you're a kid/teenager everyone expects you to base your career around your passions and interests and that works for a lot of people but it's not the full story. I wish they would also teach students to consider the lifestyle that career would require.

Like... if I had to choose a passion and work a career around it, I would probably work at a zoo or aquarium. But those jobs require a lot of schooling with STEM classes (which I hate) and a lot of early mornings (which make me feel ill) and an obligation to work in person with no flexibility to move (which makes me depressed). So even if I'd enjoy caring for animals all day, it's not a good career path for me.

My current job is travel writing, which is not my passion. I like it, but it's not my passion. But I work a flexible schedule, I can live anywhere, I get a travel stipend, and my team is really chill. So it works for me.

Rather than solely focusing on "What topics do you like?" I think we should ask students "Of the careers that suit your preferred lifestyle, which are the most interesting?"

Greenpath vessel headcanon/theory

The Greenpath vessel like all the vessels who escaped was called to rescue/replace the Hollow knight. At some point, early on in it's travel it met the Seer, who wanted to help the little one in it's quest to free the knight, like how she would later assist little Ghost, by showing it to the dream nail.

Because they did not meet within the dream realm the seer could not lead this vessel to the dream nail but instead instructed it to find a grove in Greenpath, which is a sacred place with a strong connection to the dream realm. The place where Unn had used dream to bring to life the mosskin.

And there it was to use a spell, either a spell within the stones there, or a spell the seer had taught it, to enter into the dream realm to retrieve the nail.

For this quest the Seer bestowed upon the vessel, the mothwing cloak, that would help it to more quickly reach its destination.

Unfortunately, Hornet could not let the vessel obtain any power to destroy the dreamers without first testing it's strength, and the vessel was defeated by her, before it could use the spell.

Also! the dreamers appearance to little Ghost within the grove was able to occur because of the grove's strong connection to their realm.

"Night Sky" - hollow knight It's not referred to anything in particular, I just liked the idea. It depicts the vessels and the shadelord swirling around the Hollow Knight. An alternative title could be "Children of the sky". If we see their father, the Pale King, as the moon, then they can be the stars, while the shadelord is the black sky.
