While looking at sprites for Hollow Knight I started to wonder how many different Vessel head shapes are in the game. I managed to find a google drive link on Reddit of someone who compiled all the sprites of the game and had them nicely organized by type. (link to that Reddit page here if you want to look at that)
So I went though all the Vessel sprites and drew each one. I tried to pick out the ones that seemed different and left out others that seemed like the same head shape of others. (like for example the Deepnest ones) There might be some I missed but I think I got most of them.
So yeah my art on one side, the in game sprite of each head type on the other side in the same order so you can see the comparison. Also I just gave each of the Vessels random muted colored cloaks, at lest the ones that don't have color otherwise.
POV of that Curlya Video I made. Only posting it here on Tumblr since its pretty much the only place that won’t turn it into unnecessary drama unlike Twitter...

The Mouthwash Symbolism in Mouthwashing
Lots of people mentioned how the mouthwash can be a metaphor for Jimmy and how he’s like a germ that makes it through the system and causes massive damage (“that lucky 1%”, “kills 99%”). Something else that hasn’t been discussed as much is how the mouthwash could represent censorship in the workplace. Pony Express is a retaliatory company. Anyone who reports misconduct is punished by the company. And the punishment doesn’t stop at the reporting person. The entire crew gets punished. This punishment system encourages employees to silence themselves when incidents of abuse happen. This means cases like Anya’s case go unreported. Maintaining a “clean” image of the company goes hand in hand with employee self-censorship. Employees avoid discussing or reporting anything that could result in punishment and ruin the company’s reputation.
Thinking about how the creator of mouthwashing said that a huge part of the horror is meant to be that every player will identify in some way with Jimmy, relate to him on some level, and realize that they share some traits with such an awful person, with that being what "I hope this hurts" was meant to mean. The point is that Jimmy is someone you are going to feel a connection to and that should hurt, that should cause you to reflect. Anyway I think the mouthwashing fandom really missed that because there is a truly awful self righteousness problem that no one is doing any self reflection on. I actively avoid the fandom for this reason every post I see from the mouthwashing fandom is people talking about other fans the same way Jimmy talks about the other members of the crew (esp Curly and Anya) with 0 self awareness lol.
This makes me wonder though... Which one cracked first to confess their feelings to the other? Was it Anya after seeing Curly going on dates and realising how she felt or Curly eventually gaining the courage to tell her how he felt? Or did it just kind of happen? I NEED TO KNOW 😭😭😭
it just kind of happened! but it took them a sitcom’s worth of trying to date other people, going to so much therapy, and breaking off an engagement with an npc

Haven't made any new Curlya yet, but here's an early sketch of that one drawing I made based on Joetastic's Christmas video last month (notice Daisuke in the background holding the mistletoe hehe). And of course, like the coward I was, I changed Daisuke in the final version. Oh well. Just know that this is what it was originally intended to be :)
Now that I know there's interest in Curlya art, I will make more 💙🤍
