Cece's MLB movie cap resource post!

This post contains a collection of screencaps from the MLB movie for roleplay graphic purposes for any who might need resources for icons, themes, promos, banners, etc.!

These icons have been sorted by character and each folder contains every scene that character was featured in. All characters who had a prominent presence in the movie are listed here! Unfortunately, background characters (such as classmates) are not included.

If you plan on downloading screencaps for multiple characters, be warned that you will be downloading duplicate screencaps. When sorting the caps, I duplicated them based off of who was in the frame. What this means is that, for example, if you were to download both Alya and Nino's screencaps, you would find that both folders have a lot of the same screencaps. This is because they were in a lot of scenes together!

All screencap folders are 3GB or less, with the exception of Gabriel whose folder is 3.3GB. The folders have been packed in .rar format, so you will need a program like WinRAR or 7zip to extract them.

Cece, I tried to download part 1 of LB/CN's caps and extract them but it didn't work! What gives?

Adrien and Marinette's folders are a bit unique. Adrien's total folder size is 12GB and Marinette's total folder size is 20.5GB. These files are massive, so to make uploading and downloading easier, the folder has been split into multiple 3GB (or less) .part files.

You must download all parts first (ie. all 7 of Marinette's parts), highlight all of them so they're all selected, and then right click and extract them.

Cece, my antivirus says this folder contains a virus!

In the extremely unlikely case this happens, it's a false positive! You're welcome to run the folder(s) through virustotal to be safe, though.

𝐂𝐇𝐋𝐎𝐄́'𝐒 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐖, regarding MK with no small amount of suspicion. He seems harmless. Still new enough to the class that he hasn't quite figured out that she's popular, so she'll forgive him for thinking he can freely approach her and make such demands. This time, at least. She glances over her shoulder to Sabrina, who looks about as apprehensive as someone about to witness a trainwreck.

MK starts to elaborate, prattling on about how he'd made her something or some such — to say that Chloé is barely listening is being generous, but far be it from her to refuse a gift from an adoring fan. Hm. Maybe he's not entirely useless.

Chloé holds out her hands and shuts her eyes.

            It  takes  tremendous  effort  not  to  immediately  revert  to  calling  Marinette  by  the  old,  crude  moniker  of  'Marinella'  in  her  ire,  but  she  is  just  so  ridiculously  upset.  At  Marinette  for  lying  to  him.  At  Kagami  for  her  complicit  silence.  At  Hawk—  M.  Agreste—for  starting  it  all.  Even  Nathalie  knows  the  truth. They  may  be  okay  to  keep  Adrien  in  the  dark,  but  Chloé  can't.  She  won't.

            ❝   You  have  to  tell  him.  He  deserves  to  know  the  truth!   ❞

❝ Pardon my intrusion, ❞ the intermingled voices are nothing but polite, their tones a symphony of concern. Palms raise in a show of deference; they mean no harm. They come in peace. ❝ It's just—I sensed your doubt, you see. I know it's probably hard to believe, since we're usually on opposing sides... but I'd like to help, if you'll let me. ❞

They're careful to maintain their distance; even in her mindspace, Chloé Bourgeois—Queen Bee—would never allow the comfort Chrysalis would offer their usual targets.

❝ It's painful that they still don't fully trust you, even after all this time. ❞ Rather than a question, they state it as fact; there is no need to wonder when they feel it, too. ❝ You try and try to prove yourself to them that you're different now, but you're still the last one they call, still the one being given lesser tasks. ❞

            𝐂𝐇𝐋𝐎𝐄  𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐘  𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐈𝐋𝐒;  because  she  has  been  down  this  road  before  (  again  and  again  and  again  )  and  she  knows  how  it  will  end.  She  doesn't  want  to  be  the  bad  guy  anymore,  alone  with  no  friends  or  support  system.  Chloé  had  been  trying,  she  had  been  making  an  effort.  Her  friends  (  could  she  even  call  them  that?  )  just  needed  more  time,  didn't  they?

            She  hates  that  she  doubts.  Hates  even  more  that,  in  some  small  way,  Chrysalis  isn't  wrong.  But  Chloé  is  so  scared  of  failing  again,  of  letting  everyone  down  —  how  could  she  possibly  trust  the  holder  of  the  Butterfly  Miraculous?

            ❝  Ugh,  you  don't  want  to  help  me,  ❞  Chloé  snips,  rearing  her  head  to  glare  at  the  emotionless  mask.  ❝  You  want  me  to  fail.  You  want  me  to  let  my  friends  down  and  prove  them  right  that  I  haven't  changed!  You  ——  ❞  You  want  me  to  be  alone.

            Her  temper  rises,  not  just  because  of  what  Chrysalis  says,  but  because  even  the  enemy  thinks  she  can't  change.  That  she'll  fall  right  back  into  her  old  ways.  Ridiculous!

            Well,  maybe  they  don't  really  know  Chloé  Bourgeois  at  all.

❝   ——Get  out.  GET  OUT!  I  don't  want  or  need  your  kind  of  help.  I'll  earn  their  trust  back  on  my  own!   ❞  She  shrugs  the  hand  away  from  her  arm,  turning  away  with  a  petulant  air  of  defiance.  ❝  And  take  your  tacky,  purple  smoke  with  you.  You're  a  fashion  disaster  worse  than  Hawkmoth.  ❞
